Big Shot - Country Inn & Suites — Restaurant in Punjab

I have booked Country Inn, Amritsar considering it as a hotel of Radisson group and a 4 star property but after reaching, I found it is a 3 star property. There are lots of problems in this property. First, they told me that they are upgrading my room as my chosen category rooms are not available but later I got to know that, they gave me a room which is not for guest. The AC was disastrous. Secondly, staff was too lazy, as they don't clean your room, even after requesting. The jacuzzi was not working as this room is not for guest. No safe was there to keep your valuables. No hangers for the cloth. Even after requesting, they provided both, on the last day. Thirdly, the breakfast was horrible. They have kept only 3-4 items for breakfast and repeat the same for all 3 days of my stay. Generally, the breakfast, they provided is even worst than 3 star rating. Strangely, they kept the price same as that of Radisson 4 star property for food. Fourth, they took my car for valet parking and broken down my front bumper.

Overall, I will not recommend this hotel at all because in the same price, you will good property like Hotel Ramada which is actually 4 star. I think, due to poor management of Country Inn, Radisson removed there name from it.

Had a very bad experience. My guests visited Amritsar for the first time & we arranged the stay for them in country ins queens road, AC’s were not working at all. Guests stayed for 3 nights & it was the same condition every night. When raised the concern they kept telling it will be fine in an hour but the situation remained same. They charged money for the AC rooms & at the time of checkout when we told them the concern, the manager Sunil & Harmeet Singh the front manager were not in the mood to listen anything & kept defending themselves. It was a very bad customer dealing experience...

Poorly managed hotel at good location in city. They don't hesitate to give you key of unclean room. Breakfast has limited options with not so good taste. Valet parking is available in front of hotel but they many times change location of your car unnecessarily....
