Punjab Dhaba is an excellent choice for non vegetarians in Amritsar. The location of this restaurant is quite tricky and can be easily missed. It's in a by lane but most of the locals would happily guide you towards it. We ordered for chicken tandoori, mutton tikka dry, fish amritsari and rotis. We particularly enjoyed the tandoori chicken and fish amritsari a lot. I would highly recommend this restaurant for the people craving a good non veg meal. The staff and the owner are highly courteous,kind and willing to make suggestions. They suggested a dish called Chicken Hungama which is a chef special but we were too full to try it. People around us seemed to enjoy it a lot.

Probably the best punjabi dhaba I have been to in the recent times. Located just outside the heritage walk, Amritsar. This has been my go to place for North indian cuisine during my stay in amritsar. Loved chicken tandoori, kebab, chicken curry and chicken lollypop. It taste JUST LIKE U may Think Its Suppose to be. The order is served within the reasonable time, so no complaints there and the price too was reasonable. Although the restaurant is inside a narrow lane but almost everyone including rickshaw guys would know this place. So getting there shouldn't be a problem for those coming from heritage walk.

As we entered this Dhaba, we were greeted by the owner and the staff. Place is clean and enough tables to cater large groups of family. It's situated within an alleyway but easily found once nearby. Hygiene is good and service even better. Staff are very nice and always attentive to your enquiries. The owner is very polite too and definitely a place where you wanna come back. I can't compliment enough regarding the food because it was just absolutely tasty. Definitely returning and recommend everyone to try this place.

I ordered a butter chicken, which is usually light sweet due to its recipe ingredients like honey and butter. But they prepared full on spicy chicken. Sad thing, it was a take away order and I come to know when I was at my destination. Price are quiet high as compare to other restaurant in same class. Even seating arrangements are not good. If you are with family YOU CAN TRY BEERA CHICKEN WALA, CHAWLA'S ON LAWRENCE ROAD. They have different compartment for family. I hope you ll enjoy your trip.

Heard from someone regarding Punjab Dhaba near Hotel Ramada. I was not able to locate the Dhaba initially and after asking few individuals was able to reach there 1. It is a dhaba only but I think it needs major improvement 2. Serves chicken RaRa in mutton gravy - that’s the highlight but veg Amritsar chole is disaster 3. Garlic naan was like papad - very crispy 4. Butter roti and butter naan were good. 5. Very steep stairs to climb in cramped up space

One of the rickshaw walas had suggested us this place so visited it i dont know if they get commison or the places are genunienly nice. We ordered dal makhani, roti, tandoori chicken and mutton naan. The tandoori chicken was well cooked with the right spices, same with the dal makhani. But the keema naan can be skipped as it was more of naan and less of keema. Maybe there are better places to have food as it was nothing to remember.
