Chirag Roof Top Restaurant (lake view) — Restaurant in Rajasthan

We have heard a lot about this place so we went to check out this popular cafe. Food- We tried their Tandoori Gobhi, which was prepared by their owner itself very warmly. The dish was very spicy, tasty and flavoursome. It was served with some chapatis. We ordered Veg Biryani too, which was also a treat to our tastebuds.Overall, Food turned out satisfying our expectations. Ambience- The most beautiful thing about this Cafe is it's ambience. I will suggest you to visit this place in the night. It provides a very scenic view of Lake Pichola twinkling with lights. The lighting of this cafe is too adjusted with the lake and It provides you a wonderful place for your Candle Light Dinners. You must take your partner here for such an experience! Service- Their staffs were very friendly, co-operative and always looking out to help you. Service is too really quick...

We went there to rent a scooter via our hostel (Raahi Backpacker).

They told us not to go outside the city but that is it, nothing to read, nothing to sign (probably our mistake there to accept it then). But what is the point of renting a scooter to stay inside a walkable city like Udaipur ?

So we made our day outside the city and gave the scooter back in a perfect shape with more fuel than at the begining... That is when Harshit, the beer smelling owner, decided to gave us back only half the caution (1000 roupies) by telling us we had a GPS in the scooter. Would have been nice to know it before and to have explanations on why. We would have been in another place to rent, take a taxi or whatever.

With our 500Roupies both the owner and the hostel guy will probably have a beer...

Moral : Just don't fill the pocket of...

Such an amazing place and so loving ppl. I booked room in bagol palace but they shifted me to chirag's place and I am grateful for this coz the room was really good as u can see lake directly from the room. There service is superb and I like the food too. Their rooftop restaurant has an amazing view. Ppl should try both" the view and the food". We ordered alot but I really like their cutlets, honey chilli potatoes and aubergine. The location superb as u can walk down any place in minutes like city palace, Gangaur ghat, bagore ki haveli, local shopping markets and any restaurants. I really wanna add this "Thank you Chirag bhaiya for making this new year so memorable we are so touched by your gesture and thank you for making us feel like your family. You guys are gem.
