Free tibet roof top restaurant is run by a sweet local family of jaisalmer who have learnt the Tibetan dishes from the tibetians , the food is just awesome if you are looking for some Chinese in the middle of Jaisalmer then free tibet roof top is a must visit and let me tell you , the service provided by the family was just not awesome it was mind blowing. The service is great. Food- amazing. We tried Chicken Thukpa and Mushroom fried rice. Both tasted amazing. Infact, the Thukpa was one of the good ones I've had, including those at cafes and restaurants from Darjeeling, Leh and Dharamshala. To top it all, the restaurant is right at the edge, near the canon point. Provides a mesmerising view of the city at any time of the day. We visited free Tibet during a stay within the fort at Jaisalmer, and were not disappointed.

First and foremost, the view from the roof is beautiful. Add to that the wonderful food, pleasant and courteous staff and you have a fantastic restaurant.

I had the veg korma and butter nan, my friend had the momos and we had a pot of ginger and honey tea between us. The price was very, very reasonable for such a high quality of food.
