I think most of the reviews of this place are the result of customers being pressured into writing a good review. I have traveled extensively in India and am not a picky eater and this is the worst meal I have ever had in this country. I asked the server what was good and he recommended this nastiness. I do not think it was on the menu. Our food arrived alarmingly quickly. Almost immediately after our food arrived an employee sat down at our table and tried to sell us a taxi ride to Jodhpur even though we kept saying that we already had our train tickets to Jaipur. The curry tasted like bland tomato paste they thought about seasoning, the dumplings were a round, hard, chewy bland flour mixture. The naan was a chewy flour paste that was not cooked all the way through. I literally could not eat it. My partner ordered an enchilada that tasted good. The did not charge us for the "curry" mixture but the enchilada and two lemon juices still...

Being a vegetarian guy, I was looking around to try something different on this particular day. I was accompanied by my friend and I decided to take them inside this cafe (not to mention this was my last day of Jaisalmer visit & I was eyeing on this cafe while roaming Jaisalmer) I must say, this was the best decision, I took. Interior was asthetic with earthy feeling. Owner and staff was courteous too. We ordered Rajasthani food(ker sengri, malai kofta, roti) everything was great, Ker sengri was mouth watering, I think, one of the best i had during my visit. All the delicacies were precisely prepared. We ordered coffee too and we were amused by the texture.
