If you’re in Udaipur and looking for the best kachori experience, this place near Gangor Ghat is an absolute must-visit! Located in one of the busiest areas of the city, it serves mind-blowing kachoris that truly live up to the hype. The moment you take a bite, you can taste the crispiness of the outer layer and the rich, flavorful filling inside. It has that authentic Rajasthani touch, making it stand out from the usual kachoris you find elsewhere.

Apart from the kachori, another highlight was the gulaab jamun. It was perfectly soft, warm, and soaked in just the right amount of sweetness, melting in the mouth instantly. If you have a sweet tooth, this is something you just can’t miss.

The flavors were bold and well-balanced, though I personally found aakha dhaniya (whole coriander seeds) a bit too much in the kachori. It’s not something I prefer, but that’s just my personal taste—others might love it as part of the authentic spice mix.

The place is always bustling with locals and tourists, which speaks volumes about its popularity. The service is quick, and despite being in such a crowded area, you won’t have to wait too long to get your hands on their delicious offerings.

If you're someone who appreciates true street food flavors, this is the place to be. Crispy, spicy, and bursting with authentic taste, the kachori here is easily among the best in Udaipur. Whether you’re just exploring the city or specifically hunting for great food, this place deserves a stop. Pair it with a hot gulaab jamun, and you have the perfect local food experience. Highly...

If you're in Udaipur and craving authentic Rajasthani street food, this hidden gem near the Old Udaipur Market is a must-visit! Though the shop might seem small from the outside, it packs a huge punch when it comes to flavors.

Their specialty, the Hing Kachori, is crispy on the outside and filled with a rich, spicy stuffing that perfectly captures the essence of Rajasthan. Alongside kachoris, they also serve Aloo Vada, Mirchi Vada, Samosas, and freshly made Gulab Jamuns—each dish prepared right in front of you, ensuring freshness and authenticity.

The Gulab Jamun deserves a special mention—it’s soft, warm, and perfectly soaked in syrup, making it an absolute treat for anyone with a sweet tooth. If you're visiting, try pairing a hot kachori with a gulab jamun for the ultimate local food experience!

The shop is always bustling with tourists and locals, and for good reason. The owner is a kind and welcoming person who even shares interesting stories when he has time. Pro tip: Arrive before 2 PM if you want to try their kachoris, as they sell out fast!

Located near City Palace and Jagdish Temple, this spot is perfect for a quick, flavorful bite while exploring the city. With reasonable prices and a true taste of Rajasthan, this is a food stop you simply can’t...

The best moong dal ki Kachori in Udaipur. Paliwal ji ki Kachori is legendary. Located near Jagadish Temple in old Udaipur this small place is buzzing with locals from early morning. They serve only two items Samosa n Kachori, Kachori being the highest seller and they have tea and hot milk also. The Kachori is served piping hot with two kinds of chutney. The Kachori itself is so delicious and the addition of chutneys make it amazing. The crunchyness and flakiness of Kachori is perfect and it's deep fried to perfection by Paliwal ji. The owner is humble and very friendly. There's no place as such to sit so you enjoy eating it standing where they make fresh hot Kachoris. Went there early morning around 7 directly from the railway and there were quite a few people already relishing the Kachori. Highly recommended to try it when in Udaipur. One of the best...

This place has a typical old city charm. The kachori served here has a delicious hing flavor to it. You can either have it plain or accompanied with sweet spicy chutney! We also had a mirchi vada : its a Indian pakora, made of bigger chilli which are not very spicy. They cut it in half and fill it with a potato filling, covered by besan batter, deep fried in ground nut oil. The taste is ultimate! If you have a sweet tooth, try jalebis made in pure desi ghee and are a great end to a perfect breakfast. Note: the place is a hawker type small shop and they just have a small place to sit. They close at 2 pm, best time to visit is around 8:15 am in morning. Strongly recommended if you’re a foodie.
