During our recent trip to Udaipur, my family and I had the pleasure of staying at Bhavar Vilas, located in the heart of the old city. This five-storey heritage building offers the upper three levels exclusively to guests, providing a homely atmosphere that made us feel like we were renting a second home in Udaipur.

Hospitality: The owners are exceptionally kind-hearted and always ready to assist. Their guidance on local attractions and dining options enriched our experience. As a thoughtful gesture, they presented us with keychains as mementos of our stay, adding a personal touch to our visit.

Accommodation: The rooms are modest in size, typical of guest houses in the area, but they provide a comfortable setting for a short stay. Notably, the bathrooms are exceptionally spacious—large enough that, if needed, two people could sleep comfortably in them. Families traveling with young children might find this particularly accommodating. However, it's advisable to bring your own toiletries, as these are not provided.

Security: The property offering families peace of mind during their stay. Guests have praised the hotel's location for its accessibility to tourist spot.

Dining: The haveli owners also offers tea and milk for children at very affordable rates if you ask them, ensuring that families with young ones have their needs met. Additionally, the location is convenient, with major tourist attractions and vegetarian restaurants in close proximity.

I stumbled upon Bhanwar Villas, a heritage home, while searching for affordable accommodations in Udaipur. The villa is named after Bhanwar Ji, Udaipur's first tourist guide, who shared his love for the city through his work. I booked my stay online, not expecting much due to the budget-friendly price. However, I was pleasantly surprised.||Upon arrival, I was warmly welcomed by Jagdish Ji, the owner, and his son Ashish Ji. The traditional Rajasthani greeting, "Khamma Ghani," set the tone for a comfortable and homely stay. Jagdish Ji ensured I was settled in before handing over the keys, inviting me to feel at home.||The room exceeded my expectations, offering unbeatable value for its price. The amenities, including a TV, AC, and geyser, were a pleasant surprise. I booked a short trip of 2N/3D with my wife & kid around 10 months ago, although providing feedback too late but that doesn't matter if one appreciates something genuinely good. Firstly you will not face a typical hotel stay situation rather feel like home itself. Situated in prominent market area where you will not at all face any difficulty like medical assistance, transportation etc. The owner Mr. Ashish Sharma is like a friend next door who is gem of a person. The food is completely 'Ghar Ka Khana' the only effort you have to do is just to request Ashish Ji :) One of famous historical spot 'Bagore Ki Haveli' is just few steps ahead & staff will get ticket for you. Hot water is always on the flow. Don't expect amenities of 5 star as your major focus is too cover maximum spots in Udaipur & not to only focus on hotel.
