Oladar Cafe is a quaint place to hangout, spacious (way too much) with a perfect fusion of village and a city. I am in love with the food served here - absolutely fresh and delicious. The staff was courteous and fair in giving advice. We had Irish Hot Chocolote, Mint Hot Chocolate, Barbeque Chicken Tenders, Grilled Paneer Croquettes, Scrambled eggs, Spanish Omelette and a Hawaiian Salad. PS: We had this in two different times ;) .
The mint hot chocolate had a consistent flavor of mint, you should not miss this if you are a mint person. Barbeque Chicken tenders came wrapped in barbeque sauce, and had a good quantity. The chicken pieces were fresh and well cooked. I am a egg person so loved the scrambled eggs and spanish omelette. The omelette had a good amount of cheese in it as well.
The interiors of the cafe are astonishing. You will find cycles, lamps, a real mango tree, couches, sofas and a lot more. They have both indoor and outdoor sitting. The cafe was little difficult to locate, but once i was in, it took me less than a minute to fall in love with this place. I went on a vacation to Udaipur and visited this cafe twice (once for indoor and other for the outdoor sitting).
The place is little expensive as compared to other, but the food and ambiance are worth spending for. Please note the place do not offer any outside view, its the good and clean interior along with delicious food that...

I am mad at myself for not visiting this place till now. It was in my list since so long but somehow the plan never got executed. I can totally see myself sipping chai in a cozy corner of this cafe every now and then in upcoming winter season.
Talking about the food, it was top notch in terms of taste and quality. Presentation of the mocktails, shakes and other beverages is gonna make you order one for sure. For starters we had freshly made thin crust pizzas, Veg Quesadillas. The star of the evening was the main course. I wasn't expecting such delicious Indian & thai curries here.
After a long time, I actually enjoyed main course so much. We had paneer butter masala and matar methi malayi with Indian breads, thai green curry and rice. Wrapped up the evening on a sweet note with brownie and ice cream.
What a place ! To sum it up, all that I can say is...
Read moreFirst of all about the place, very nice ambience!! Kind of an in house cafe and well lit!!! The reason for 2 stars is the food as we ordered 3 things, first was hot chocolate which was not very great and not too bad either. Second one was pizza which was pathetic with very dried chicken not cooked well and tasted very dull for a Chef's Classic Pizza, and last one was classic waffle with maple syrup, waffle was hard, not crispy and also chocolate syrup was poured all over it with no place left for maple syrup to b put on; more like a chocolate waffle than a classic one, over all it tasted really bad and had to leave it half eaten. Must visit for its unique ambience and secluded location. Its pricey and food sucks!!! Nice staff PS:- Don't order too much and don't even bother to go experimenting with food like crazy!!! Advise to the owner!!! Focus on food, got a great place, try to bring in some authentic meals perhaps with less variety but good chosen...
