We had recently visited this cafe 3days back coz of the review but had a worst experience ever .My husband asked the waiter for the chef's special dish as a starter and we got some basic fried shredded chicken dish nothing special that too after 30 mins. Also alongside we ordered for some soup and mixed noodles for main course and had to wait for almost 1hr and 20 mins to be exact inspite of asking repeatedly abt our order whereas there was no sense of urgency or concern among the staffs over there. Rather delivering our order they wer taking orders from new customers who wer coming after us.As tourists when we come to some new place on review recommendation dis is wt we sudnt expect..If you arecgoing to be late or a any specific dish is going to take long time then you sud atleast inform the customers but u choose to destroy our entire time waiting for food.We had to leave after dt and then also there was no sense of sorry among them.Pathetic staffs and service is worst Will never recommend any tourist or people who are interested to try any new restaurants, plz go to some...
Read moreCafe Ihasa on MG Marg is a charming little place with a cute and cozy ambiance. The warm interiors and relaxing atmosphere make it a great spot to unwind, whether you're with friends or just spending some quiet time alone. One of the highlights is the balcony seating that offers a lovely view of the bustling street belowâperfect for people-watching while sipping on a drink.
Coming to the food, we tried the Thukpa, Ramen noodles, and Shyaphale. The Shyaphale stood out with its delicious flavor and crisp textureâdefinitely worth trying if you're visiting. The Ramen noodles were average and couldâve used a bit more depth in flavor. The Thukpa was comforting and satisfying.
Another plus is that they serve alcohol, which adds to the laid-back vibe of the place. Overall, Cafe Ihasa is a great spot for a relaxed meal with a touch of local flavor and a...
Read moreI usually don't post negative reviews but this was one of the worst experiences I've ever had. I asked for their recommendations on best soup and starter. The starter item titles "chefs special chicken" arrived 45 minutes later and was below average at best. The rest of the order didn't arrive after more than 1 hr 15 mins of waiting and my 3 years old kid was really hungry at this point. We had to leave the restaurant without eating and we were not alone. Several guests didn't receive their order either. The best part was that, the "chefs special" which was an off menu item, was charged at Rs 399/- A few chunks of shredded chicken dipped in hot garlic sauce. That was it. I would not recommend visiting this...
