Prabhuji Pure Food Siliguri — Restaurant in Siliguri

Today I visited this store wd my friend. At first I got dissapointed to see that options for sweets was very less. I was surprised to see that they have only readymade packate of kaju barfi. Only a few sweets were in display. Ok you can give excuse of corona for this ... Buy what about 2nd thing . I have ordered 2 Raj kachauri and 1 plate dahi wada for parcel. Even after 40 minutes they were unable to serve the order. Finaly after 40 minutes we cancelled our order and returned with some dabba band sweets.

Very dissapointing . Haldiram is unable to provide 2 raaj kachauri in 40 minutes. We are only 2 customers at that time in d shop and the reason in clear now. This was my first and last visit...

Very nice, Food is very delicious. chinese , South Indian,Cuisines available. Variety of Delicious snacks such as Indian Samosa, Panner Pakoda ,Khasta Kachori, Pav Bhaji, Chola Tikki etc. South Indian Dishes such as all time favorite Masala Dosa, Sambar Bada, idli.Chinese dishes such as Veg fried rice with Manchurian , Chowmein etc. Sweets Dishes : Rasgulla, Malpua( Hot/warm), yummi Kesari Gulab Jamun( Hot/warm), Gajar Halwa (seasonal). Desserts : Kesar Pista Kulfi, Seasonal Kulfi ( Mango , Litchi, Banana orange). New additions :Veg Biryani Handi, Kashmiri Pulao Handi. I only ordered two items - a four piece Rosogulla and four piece gulab Jamun.

The gulab Jamun was soft and melty- very delicious. The size of the gulab Jamun is smaller than the Rosogulla. 5/5 for this.

The taste of Rosogulla was not as you expect. It’s hard to dig into with a spoon and tough to bite into. (You will notice that the generic Bengali shop variant of rosogulla is softer to eat). 3/5 for Rosogulla. I have deducted one star for this.

The packaging is a 10/10. Very impressed with the branding.

If I visit the brand physically, I might change my review again. Until then,...
