Cafe Coffeehouse — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

Tonight (20/08/25), I visited this café with my friend.

The receptionist was kind, responsive, and treated us respectfully. However, the issue lies with one of the staff members.

I placed an order, and though it wasn’t a heavy one, it took unusually long to be served. I didn’t mind and chose to let it go. But later, while my friend and I were still halfway through our meals—after only about half an hour—a staff member, not even in uniform, came and abruptly took away our food without saying a single word or asking if we were done.

I immediately asked, “Why, bro?” but he just smiled and walked away.

I can’t tell if he was simply being careless, disrespectful, or if it was because we looked different. Either way, it was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. For a highly rated café, hiring such staff reflects...

One of the worst experience of mine in Chennai. Usually in every restaurant I visit either food or service or atmosphere, any of these would be good, but here everything was pathetic and worse any could experience. I ordered watermelon juice which was not cold and sweet that they didn't put ice, sugar and used cheap watermelon. Then the Belgian cheese cake which was hard as rock and cost 120/- . The cream bun was a pure scam that the MFD was different. I am working in the USA shift. Whenever I feel hungry during night times, I visit this place with my team to enjoy snacks. I like their snacks especially chilli cheese Toast, paneer toast, White pasta, pizza, burger. I don't like tea in this cafe but yes during night times up to 2 o'clock the shop is open and has good food items. The food items category mostly is a snack and drink It doesn't keep meals kind of an item. We can see around 52 to 60 customers at a time during night time also up to 2:00 a.m. The shop is present at the corner and on the main road so you can easily find this place there is ample space for...
