Bazaar — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

We went for a Sunday lunch and the price was around 3k per head incl GST.

The restaurant is in the lobby and pretty congested. We were made to sit in a place where they parked their drinks trolley making it difficult to get in and get out. I told the person couple of times, they just nod, move it, only to move it back again in few mins

Food : 3.5/5. Lot of varieties esp vegetarian. but due to crowd, and refilling time taken , unable to enjoy the food. Desserts are not enough and not good either Service : 3/5. We asked for soda multiple times, they didn't bother. So as for Paan. Servers were busy dancing than serve the customers. Entertainment should only be an add on, and not at the compromise of the service provided. Live counters were struggling to cope up with crowd. Ambience and Hygiene : 2.5/5. Ambience was nice but could be better. Place looked cramped and unable to move around. The food items were stacked up on top of each other in a stepped fashion which means top food is spilling in the bottom. Kids were touching the food with their bare hands and eating fruits and cheeses directly standing there. No body seems to keep a check.

At this price point and star hotel badge, service and ambience should be better. Other star restaurants which offer lunch around the same price point does a better job ex. Westin. GRT need to...

First i start from Starters.

Starters are awesome, They gave us lamb fry nethili 65 chicken lollypop & mutton sheik kebab. I have to tell u about the quality and taste of mutton peices. The mutton peices served here is very fresh and tender. They gave only soft chest peices of mutton which is tender and juicy loved it. And the taste of chicken lollypop is superb and mutton sheik kebab taste is average only. But nethili 65 is good.

In maincourse aachi karikulambu is awesome with roti and mutton fry is nice except Biriyani everything is nice. Sushi taste is excellent, Dumplings tastes good overall nice experience

The highlight in their buffet is DESSERTS. huge varieties in the dessert spread. The hazelnut brownies taste and quality is extraordinary. Kaju kathli coffee rasagulla and all things are great. There are more than 25 varieties i think. And coffee and tea is unique here.

Nice ambience nice music and in between dances by staffs caring attemnders overall great experience. Thank u grt team. I give 99 out of 100 for their sevice care ambience taste...

The food was good , but the menu wasn't as expected. The live counters for pizza pasta was overwhelming. Most of our south Indians wouldn't be aware of how a pad Thai or udon would taste or what ingredients to use to taste authentic. Had a tough time to choose the choice of ingredients for each item and when picked cherry tomatoes for pasta , it came as full round one , rather than chopped ones . This counter could have been set better . Could have been better if tge chefs give us basic choice and make the food as per the original taste. We wasted almost 5 to 10 mins trying to figure the food combos. We loved the Satay and peanut sauce and grills mostly. And payasam. The desert counter was good. Falooda / ice cream tasted Suttle bland. Than sugary. Paneer tasted excellent but soup and few other dishes didn't give us the excellence of eating in a star restaurant. The ambience was good and the staffs were helpful with our surprise celebration. Overall I would go average for bazzar compared to jai hind. I got in my entire family cos I loved the flavors of grills and menu from Jai hind. ( unfortunately it turned disappointing here ) Hope there will be a better food the next...
