I booked a room in this hotel the 3rd time. The 2nd time I booked a room in this hotel via an online hotel booking website. I had some complaints with the cleanliness of the room, so I posted my review and complaint on the site from where I booked the room. I though the hotel people will look into the matter and will take care of the issue for other travellers.||But this time, when I checked in, the reception person started arguing with me that why I posted a complain on that online hotel booking site, and he told me that the website sent them a notice with a strict warning of delisting their hotel from the list.||||The guy at the hotel reception behaved so rudely. Well, the reason behind booking room in this hotel every time I come to Chennai is that they provide free wi-fi service (included in the booking amount). As I work in a private company, getting connected to the internet and my work is much precious for me.||||But they intentionally gave me the room where wifi do not work. I went to the reception two times, but the reception guy told me that he can't help me. He gave me 2 options, either choose a luxury room on 1st floor and pay 1000 rs. more for per night or wait for next night, as they will change the room tomorrow night.||||I asked him to get me the luxury room at the same amount for which I booked my room, then he again started arguing with me rudely. I though it is better to come back to my room and change the hotel the next day. This was my last time booking in this hotel.||||Anyone who is booking due to the reason they have a wifi service for their guests, don't believe in their false commitment. Read moreDisappointed with service - poorly maintained corporate rooms, in fact it does no look like a corporate room, it was just another AC room... room was full of mosquitoes, had to ask the management to put a mosquito coil in the room - 3mbps internet connectivity, internet was not working most of the times (limited connectivity - when contacted staff they said it's Sunday and its a BSNL problem ) - also dish tv was not working they took 30 minutes to repair it. They got setup box from another room to get the dish going - no complementary breakfast - staff was rude - 24 hours checkout , they will allow to stay up to 2 additional hours , not even a minute past +2 hours - I asked them to give me 30 more minutes but they were rude and I had to checkout immediately. Also initially when I asked them about the route to hotel, it was around 5AM in the morning, I did not get a good response - they were like , I have informed auto driver and call was disconnected. Only positives were-- place is close to US consulate ( around 1+ km ) - budget hotel, if you are looking for a cheaper priced hotel room... That's it .. I had called the previous night to re confirm.||Yet the person at the counter had no record on his register and gave a room after I produced the booking reference and other details.||The room was basic, the ac worked well, and the bathroom was adequate. The shower head could be changed. Keeping a kettle with a few sachets of tea,coffee,sugar, milk powder could be a help.||We had breakfast,dinner,an evening snack and dinner while we were there and the food was fine.||On our second day the staff provided an early breakfast at 7am as per our request.||Only one towel for 2 people.
