Chennai Food Express — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

Okay, starting with food I had some 2 years back at this restaurant, which was amazing. Today I had ordered Pongal Vada. Pongal was chilling cold( forget being hot), Sambhar was pathetic(not in even closely warm). I had asked for some strong tea, they gave me the exact opposite. But wait, it doesn't end there. The highlight of all was the vada from menu, it was cold and fully soaked in oil. Firstly I squeezed oil using a napkin further when I found I'll have to ask for napkins to drain out the entire oil, i tried to do it with wooden spoon. Just find the pictures. So that's the story of the amazing restaurant turned pathetic. Cleanliness around the dining place...

Had breakfast here whilst waiting for my flight ,Service was fast despite a small queue forming when I joined I was served in under 10 minutes . Ordered a Pongal with Vada and a cup of Tea . Pongal was fantastic , soft with plenty of taste and cashews and curry leafs for added flavour .Quantity was decent Price including drink was 650rs which for India standards is excessive when considering a meal outside the airport for the same thing is less then 200rs .
