Krispy Kreme Doughnuts — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

The incident which happened today morning at the Krispy Kreme outlet at Domestic Airport Chennai.

Im a regular customer of Krispy Kreme when i was working at Australia . Once i returned India, whenever i travel, i used to buy a doughnut for me wherever i saw the  Krispy Kreme outlet .

Yesterday i was travelling from Delhi to Chennai and i had a long transit at chennai to catch my next flight to tuticorin , hence i decided to buy doughnut for my family . I was allowed to cross security gate only after 2 AM . Once i crossed security gate, i found outlet was closed .

I was waiting outside the outlet till 4:45 AM and once the shopkeeper came i ordered 6 doughnuts as below

Original Glazed, Choco Caramel, Chocolate Iced Glazed, Chocolate Iced Glazed Sprinkles, Sugar, Strawberry Delight

I was not informed about any combo offer which i could see at your website , since i was in hurry for onboarding (flight time 6AM , Gate 12) i paid the amount mentioned by shopkeeper and got the receipt and onboarded to flight .

I saw the receipt and was shocked seeing that i have been charged not based on the selection of the doughnut but charged as 4 "KK chocolate iced" 520Rs and 2 "KK chocolate iced" 260Rs .

Issue here is ,

i didn't get to know about any combo offers at outlet.

I was overcharged irrespective of the variant of doughnut i...

I am writing to express my concern and dissatisfaction regarding an incident that took place at the Krispy Kreme store near Gate 16, Chennai Airport, on 24th November 2024.

I went to the Krispy Kreme store with the intention of purchasing a tea, which was priced at ₹200. However, when I requested tea, the staff informed me that they did not have any available. The staff member then suggested that I buy tea from a nearby shop called "Caféccino." I noticed that the staff from both stores were sitting together and appeared to be friends.

Upon going to Caféccino, I was shocked to find that the tea there was priced at ₹300, which was ₹100 more expensive than at Krispy Kreme. I found this situation to be highly suspicious, as it seemed that Krispy Kreme was intentionally not selling tea to direct customers to a competitor's store with higher prices.

I believe that this practice is unfair and deceptive, and it reflects poorly on both Krispy Kreme and Chennai Airport. I kindly request that you look into this matter to ensure that such practices do not continue in the future.

I would appreciate a prompt response regarding the steps you will take to address this issue.

Pathetic staff with zero sense of hygiene or service. This is the outlet inside the Airport Terminal (T1) that is opposite to KFC. I saw some customer to whom the staff at the counter was being extra pally to - They literally took some donuts, held it for a while to decide whether to buy or not and then returned it. The staff conveniently took it back and placed it back in the counter.

Figured I was better off not buying from this outlet....
