Fruit Shop on Greams Road, Anna Nagar — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

My recent visit to the Fruit Shop on Greams Road, expecting a refreshing and flavorful juice experience, turned out to be a huge disappointment. The shop's reputation did not live up to its claims, as I encountered overpriced juices with lackluster taste and quality.

First and foremost, the pricing of the juices was exorbitant. The cost of a single serving was significantly higher compared to other juice shops in the area, and it was difficult to justify the premium price tag. I expected that such high prices would be indicative of exceptional quality and taste, but unfortunately, that was not the case.

The quality of the fruits used in the juices was subpar. The freshness and flavor were lacking, and it was evident that the fruits were not of the highest quality. The juices lacked the vibrant and natural taste that one would expect from fresh fruit juices. It felt as though the shop compromised on sourcing high-quality fruits in order to maximize their profits.

Furthermore, the quantity of juice provided was disappointingly low. The servings were small and did not match the price charged. It felt like I was paying a premium for a meager amount of juice, which left me unsatisfied and feeling ripped off.

I bought a falooda in which the quantity was less and high priced .the falooda was priced around 250rs and i even bought a pre made sandwich which was worse than the falooda and it is priced around 135rs for just an sandwich

The customer service experience was also underwhelming. The staff members seemed disinterested and did not offer any guidance or recommendations on the juice options. Their lack of enthusiasm and knowledge further detracted from the overall experience.

In addition, the cleanliness and hygiene standards of the shop were subpar. The preparation area did not appear well-maintained, and the hygiene practices were questionable. This lack of attention to cleanliness raised concerns about the safety and freshness of the juices being served.

Overall, my experience at the Fruit Shop on Greams Road as a juice shop was highly disappointing. The overpriced juices, lackluster quality, insufficient quantity, indifferent customer service, and inadequate hygiene standards make it impossible for me to recommend this establishment. I hope that the management takes these feedback points into consideration and works towards improving their offerings to provide a more satisfying juice experience to their customers.

A business set for doom by itself.

Pathetic service and zero hospitality. Although, the rate of their menu is over priced, we were asked to share a table despite they having empty tables saying they are reserved. We needed a place to wait for our friends who were apparently running late so decided to wait here. We ordered our juices and were waiting for 30 min & the staff brought us the bill without us asking for it. Then shouting on top of their voice from counter asking us to pay so that they can shame us in front of other customers. The place was half empty and they were insisting us to leave as if there is a long queue waiting.

Despite of the fact we agreed to share a table, the staff had the audacity to manipulate/shame their customers into leaving early.

We friends used to frequently visit this place over last decade....

The shop is quaint and clean. The outdoor seating area is clean and smells of detergent. But, if you enter the air-conditioned indoors, the smell is of fruit infusion, which might become unbearable after sometime. If you're going here, I would suggest the outdoor seating area. The juice is all good, but the price is high for the quantity. But, if you just want to hang out, this is a place to be. You can sit here for hours on end and chat privately. We visited here during the non-peak hours, so we got all the privacy and the space that we needed. I'm not sure about the peak hours.
