HQ Dakshin Bharat Area Canteen — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

It is exclusive for ex service and service personnel. Being an ex serviceman I have visited CSD canteens in many places. In some canteens service is very bad and no proper arrangement is made to enter into the canteen. You have to wait outside and you will be allowed to get inside only at the mercy of the officials employed at the canteen.

But this is one of the best canteen. Better token system. Tokens are issued manually. Hand gloves are sold at the token counter with nominal price. There are individual cup boards to keep our bags before entering into the self service area. Two family members are allowed inside per token (with smart Card) till billing counter to assist pushing the trolley and picking the items. Items are neatly arranged. Canteen staffs are always available inside the self service area and they are very helpful. After billing, there are places marked for transferring items from the trolley to our bags which is very convenient. Two and four wheelers parking available.

URC- canteen is good and service by the civil staff and others good. But the man sitting in the Office Sh Subbaiya I never seen man like him. Not having 1% of humanity.
