Kameswari Unavagam — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

This place is quite a bit old which is from 1988. The name of the hotel is also in tamil so for non locals, it is a bit hard to understand the hotel name and also the menu items. They should've put the names along with the price in English also for the customers to identify which might be a good idea.

We had kichidi, idly, chapathi. All of these tasted decent and the kurma was good.

We rated 3 because the attitude of the servers is not good. They won't serve the food that comes on line, they will serve the food whom they know and regular customers first and if we ask they rudely give the answer to wait as they are busy.

So don't get angry if they are doing the same if you are going...

This is one of the famous tiffen Centre in West Mambalam. It has been operating in the same street at different places but have steady and loyal customer who prefer less spicy foods. The food items are very limited and they had specified menu for each day. They don't make Dosa here so this place is not for Dosa lovers. They have no seating facility and you have to stand and have the food. Parking for 2 wheelers won't be an issue four wheelers bit difficult. Better place for those who prefer...

I went to this place for lunch. They are serving around 10 variety of mixed rice and rose milk the quality of the food is good since its a self-service hotel don't expect quality of service here they don't have tables inside to sit there are few chair outside you can sit on the steps outside too. the place is very crowded if you have claustrophobic please get the food and come out asap. the price of each rice is Rs. 35 (as on 20 Dec 2019). their signature dish is Vathakolambu Rice...
