Mahalakshmi Hotel — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

Hello All, Greetings!

I and my wife Monica (Government Doctor, Velachery) visited this hotel. On asking extra sambar, the server started showing the faces.

Are we supposed to eat with that just one and only small bowl of sambar?

From then, we stopeed going there.

Then we find a new veg hotel newly started in the same road (just 200-300 meters away). The quality and quantitiy are far better and very importantly the way they treat the customers were outsatnding.

Please explore.

I have been to this hotel today. Very poor service. We had ordered for basic food which is idli for the kids. They kept us waiting for almost 30 mins and then came back with reply saying that idli is not available.

When we shouted at them, they were rude at us and were asking us to leave the hotel.

Very worst behaviour by the service staff and the cashier just kept quiet looking all of this happening.

Worst experience ever.

We usually visit here for either breakfast or dinner. The quality of dosa, idly, Vada will be decent. They provide two chutneys and sambar in a separate utensil for each table. Haven't tasted their lunch yet. But breakfast and dinner are okay-ish, better than other restaurants nearby.

They will serve everything on a single plate with banana leaf, hand served items, so if you are ok with that you can visit...
