Nice location, good ambience, fine food, consistent service, the experience is the same all the time...
Long wait at the table for no obvious reasons, because the restaurant isn't overflowing with crowds but even then it takes 15 to 20 mins for the menu card to reach you
Another 30 to 40 minutes for anyone to take order, or even people of that capacity to walk by your table
If you want your entire family to dine at the same time, or planning on sharing the side dishes, forget it, it's not happening, each one gets food at a different time with varying temperatures
So with each delivery add an additional 20 to 30 mins to be served for the order that was taken a few hours ago now, and remember to be on the lookout for staff all the time otherwise add another 30 mins for the wait time.
And finally after approx 2 to 3 hours of family time with hunger, desperation and anger, finish your food and never think of asking for any add on, because by the time it comes your main dish is presumably over
After the great ordeal, at last, wait for the bill, which takes another 20 mins, with multiple reminders to the staff, or a few walk around the billing table yourself
Walk out with the satisfaction that you spent 3 hours without sitting in front of a TV, yet watching a drama with anxious customers, clueless staff, few wise people just walking away without even ordering after the long wait, etc. the same experience in the theater would have cost you more!
Step in, if you have to with no actual hunger but abundant patience, and you have absolutely no other plans for the...
Read moreComfortable, Clean, and a Veggie Heaven! I recently had the pleasure of staying at Raaj Bhaavan Clarks Inn, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. If you're looking for a comfortable stay with outstanding vegetarian food, this is the place to be. The hotel itself is modern, clean, and very well-maintained. Our room was spacious, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the housekeeping was impeccable. What really stood out was the staff—everyone from the front desk to the room service team was incredibly professional, polite, and always ready to help with a smile. It made our stay feel truly welcoming. The absolute highlight, however, was the in-house vegetarian restaurant, Raaj Bhaavan. It's not just a typical hotel restaurant; it's a destination in itself. The menu is extensive, offering an incredible variety of authentic Indian dishes (both South and North Indian) and other vegetarian delights. Everything we tried was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The breakfast spread was particularly impressive, with live counters and so many delicious options. It's a true paradise for vegetarians, and honestly, the food is so good that even non-vegetarians would be more than satisfied. Overall, Raaj Bhaavan Clarks Inn exceeded all our expectations. It offers the perfect combination of a comfortable, high-quality hotel stay and a top-notch vegetarian culinary experience. I highly recommend it and will definitely be returning on...
Read moreProbably one of the worst experiences I have ever had. We had placed an order for a simple tomato soup, dragon roll, honey chilli potato, veg biryani for main course accompanied with veg kofta and kaju masala and a dosa apiece for my parents. Tomato soup quantity was very minimal. Not even worth 3rd class restaurant quantity and quality. They gave spring roll instead of dragon roll which was served cold and was not crispy at all. Seasoning was absent on all the dishes presented, especially the honey chilli potato which lacked all the basics of a simple dish! The main course is not even worth mentioning. The biryani was tasteless, the gravies were tasting very sour and bitter. My parents were very appalled by the way the service was rendered as well. We decided to try this restaurant based on the good reviews it received. However, the overall experience does not even deserve 1 rating. Waste of time to add a...
