New Pattukottai Kamatchi Mess Kumbakonam — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

I searched for best non veg meals in Kumbakonam and found new pattukkottai kamatchi mess. They have lot of combo meals like meals + chicken combo, meals+ mutton chukka combo,meals + prawn,crab,kola, brain etc for 250Rs... My experience: I tried meals + mutton chukka combo of 250 Rs and fish fry extra 100 Rs.

They served small onion,two veg side dishes and karuvadu side dish.

For meals they have prawn,chicken,crab thick gravy,and mutton bone curry,fish curry.

I tried all the gravies and curries but none of them is satisfied me,the taste is very average or below average.

The fish fry i tried dont have any taste like spicy or salt,it is like taste less..it is cooked well but taste is like eating a boiled fish without masala.I dont know this is the real taste or today the chef forgot something.

Mutton chukka is good in taste and quantity is also sufficient for a meal,for every gravy item they provide you with pieces from the gravies.It is really a good thing.Rasam and pot curd is good in its taste.

I had lunch multiple times with family , today observed as business man , really critical business , they providing best food with varieties than other restaurants, some hotels collecting 200 per meal with two varieties but here 5+ varieties , water bottle , snacks , Kadala Mittai, Veg Siddesh , Payasam for 250 ₹ is great .
