We had booked this hotel through make my trip. While booking we had given the details as to how many of us needed to ve accommodated I. E. Two adults and 2 children. However when we went to the hotel the manager said that we have to pay extra for the kids. When we told them that we had specified the occupants very clearly while booking and that their voucher also specified 2 adults and 2 children and also asked why this extra charge was not mentioned. The hotel had multiple answers, one of which was make my trip booking are confusion and that we should not be using it. When we asked them the question as to why are they even partnering with make my trip in that case, they had no answer. One guy then said it's my problem and shows some terms and conditions that the hotel can charge extra for the extra bed. When we told them we do not want anything extra and want only what we have booked for he did not have any answers. Then we called make my trip who first said that we are right and that hotel should not be saying this bit afterwards they said what the hotel said is right. After escalating the situation to 2 managers make my trip and hotel agreed to give us the extra beds without any charge. Hotel breakfast - we saw a cockroach timing where the tea and the omelette were made. When I showed it to the chef he simple took the cockroach down and killed it with his feet and started to make on letter again. The front desk is useless . When asked for places to see and information about the surrounding areas they simple told us to Google. We also kept getting wake up calls whole night after 2 hours for 4 days. When we complained they said they will clear the wake up calls and may be it was kept by the previous occupants of the room but this never happened. On the third day they told us that IT person is not there and so we ahold unplug the phone to avoid any disturbance. This in short is the bitter story at this hotel for us. Plesdr avoid it at all costs and done go by its name!!!...
Read moreDo you ever dine at a restaurant and you instantly settle on the thought that it is the best fine dining experience you've had ? Oasis , at Radisson Blu gave me one such experiences.
Ambience - Oasis is easily one of the most comfortable and ritzy place to have dinner at. Be it a business meet, family dinner or even a date , Oasis is suitable for all purposes. They have a huge buffet hall which is comfortable and vast to walk around and get your food at ease.
Food: Starting from their crunchy and flavorful starters such as chicken 65, piri piri paneer, fried fish and Gobi Manchurian to their scrumptious variety of desserts nothing fell short of our expectations for a luxury dining experience. They had a wide variety of salads and a counter which allows you to make your own salad as well. Their main course options were vast , such as to suit the need of people with different expectations. They had Indian and continental, both of which were equally luscious. If you have a chance to request for their chef' special dark chocolate pastry dessert , please do try ! It is one of the best dessert's I've ever had !
Service: Starting from the minute we entered the place till we left after our heavy and brilliant dinner , the staff were extremely courteous and attended to our requirements promptly. The manager was kind enough to ask us about our experience and spend time in explaining the details behind the dining experience they offer.
It was a great experience dining at Oasis and I'd go back anyday to have a...
Read moreOasis is a wonderful place to see how the staff bickers and has arguments in front of guests. Infact they're so dedicated towards it, they don't even bother to let the guest pass while at it. They don't even offer to serve food, they leave the food at your table and walk away. At the Breakfast buffet, they didn't get us coupla things we needed from the live counter. Breakfast Buffet plates were unclean and I had to swatch several before I could find a decent one to eat in. Food is edible but it's not amazing, it's not wow-will-come-back-for-this. Staff is highly untrained. One of the Staff was having difficult time placing the finger bowl in front of me, another one was checking the water jug was clean or not, right beside our table. We were there for three days and two nights, I mean what is this place even? Should they continue to be in hospitality industry if they are so half hearted about it? I have seen impeccable service at local eateries and restuarants; They're way more polite and expertise is unmatched. Oasis is such a failure. Will never recommend it to anyone. If you have doubts, go check...
