Vestin Park Hotel — Hotel in Zone 5 Royapuram

Recently i have been denied room in this Hotel sighting that i'm from the same city and as per the policy they wont allow to check-in. I had a booked a Room thru Makemytrip app and paid fully and got the confirmed voucher. While checking-in the counter person told me that since i am from the same city i will not be allotted a room. Inspite of showing my confirmed voucher and my National Aadhaar card original and my wife Aadhaar original and also passport copies where spouse name was included, they denied room saying since i'm staying in the same city they wont allot rooms. The GM was called for and he too stubbornly denied if we have local id's they wont allow to check-in. I even cited the reason for staying for one day were on medical grounds but still they asked us to leave. I'm surprised being the citizen of a country and a resident of the same city i'm being pushed out. I have stayed in so many hotels i this city and this was the first horrible experience i had. This was totally outrageous and harassement and mental trauma on behalf of the Hotel. When i pointed 5 and 4 star hotels are allowing us to check-in with Aadhar card they still denied and the GM said then go and book there. Totally terrible experience and I won't recommend this...

It was our last min arrangement to have the engagement ceremony for 80 pax at Vestin Park Banquet Hall. But You guys nailed it. That afternoon was very special for us and you made it even better by the quality of the arrangements, standard of service and the quality of the food. The chef excelled in his delivery - rave reviews on the mutton biriyani, meen varuval, rasam and shahi tukda (bread pudding) which was crispy & awesome dessert. Please pass on this email to the management chain so that our appreciation of your professionalism combined with the personal touch is noted. We really appreciated your professionalism and help before the event, especially as this was the first event of this kind for us, so there were probably many silly questions! Ms Nagalakshmi was always been prompt to reply and reliable in delivering information. We would definitely recommend Vestin Park Egmore for future events or room bookings! We chose Vestin Park for the celebration of our Family function. The booked Palki Banquet Hall is pretty Good in terms of the Space & the Ambience. Barring certain minor cosmetic issues with the hall, everything was taken care by the Hotel Staff then & there. Arrangements of Food and the Quality, Presentation & the Taste of the Food served was liked & appreciated by the gathering. Those who attended the party had not pointed out any problem with the arrangements & services offered by the Hotel administration. The morning break fast was liked by my family very much. The Staff were very kind and friendly.

While sharing our experience with GM of the Hotel, we were told that the Hotel would undergo Renovation shortly. I'm sure that after the renovation of the Hotel, the stay at this hotel and for organizing any family or the Business Party/ceremony would be certainly memorable.
