Sree Gupta Bhavan - SgB — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

Very poor in Staff service. Today (26/09/2021) visited here, which located in Velachery Main Road. The staffs are not much attentive. I have ordered some items in restaurant and was waiting for Take away. Nearby 15 minutes, I was asked everyone in the counter, but was not any response. Then I was thinking to cancel the bill, so went to cash counter. But They kept the parcel in cash counter. There is no proper management system put in take away service.

Then I came down to buy some sweets and snacks. There also the sales guys were standing simply, but kept their face like they are so busy. I asked everyone (time around 6.20 pm to 7 pm. You may check in CCTV, if available there). But there were telling, I am busy, ask anyone. Really I appreciate some other leading sweet shops for this que management. Here sales guys are f...king themselves. By fed up, we came out without buying anything.

I give you a free advice, please change the shop manager and the sales boys completely. Recruit fresh and dedicated staffs. If it continues, you may close the shop soon. It's my advice as...

Only positive thing about the restaurant is that it is air-conditioned and they have a rest room. I had a Thali today at this restaurant. The phulkas were cold, the rice in Pulav was not boiled and also cold. Quantity of side dishes were very limited, taste was average and overall satisfaction was a dismal poor for the price we paid.

I will never recommend this to anyone. Rather travel a little further and have a decent and good quality meal at A2B, where you will be satisfied and your expense also may not be high like this.

Service levels were pathetic.

AVOID GOING TO THIS HYPED UP RESTAURANT IF YOUR CHOICE IS EATING GOOD FOOD.

Saw the Tamil server licking gulabjamun syrup from finger after serving in one thali, not washing or cleaning his hands and picking up another gulab jamun to serve in another thali, which wasn't for us as I was waiting for tea and got to view this! Informed manager immediately who took it so cool and said the boys cannot do it (obviously to cover it up). I told him that's true but he didnt even ask the boy, which means this is a trend there. Yuck!! I'm a NRI and US caterers have gloves on. Here no gloves, acceptable to certain extent. But licking and serving!!! Oh my!
