My recent visit to Crazy Ivan was an experience that truly surpassed expectations, solidifying its place as a top-tier bar and restaurant. From the moment I stepped through the door, the staff's exemplary hospitality shone through. Every member of the team, from the hosts to the servers and bartenders, was not only incredibly attentive but also genuinely warm and knowledgeable. They anticipated my needs without being intrusive, offered insightful recommendations on both food and drinks, and consistently went the extra mile to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. This level of service is a rare find and truly elevated the entire evening.

The food: The culinary journey was nothing short of exquisite. Each dish we sampled was a testament to the skill and creativity. I started with crows nest fries, which was perfectly crispy on the outside and wonderfully soft inside , bursting with earthy flavor with the added cheese and mushrooms. For our mains, a friend tried their beef steak which were cooked to perfection, tender and succulent, complemented by a delicate sauce that enhanced rather than overpowering . The ingredients were clearly fresh and of the highest quality, resulting in a dining experience that was both sophisticated and incredibly satisfying.

Behind the Bar: Beyond the remarkable food, the cocktail program at Crazy Ivan is truly exceptional. The bartenders are mixology maestros, crafting drinks that are not only visually stunning but also perfectly balanced and innovatove. Born bliss which had a delightful depth of flavor with added bubblegum flavor, followed by Patiala which is a twist on LIIT which offered a refreshing and unique twist on a classic. Each drink was a testament to their expertise, using premium spirits and fresh, thoughtful ingredients. This commitment to excellence extended to their well-maintained pool table, which provided a fantastic avenue for some friendly competition, adding another layer of enjoyment to our evening.

The ambiance: Adding to the vibrant atmosphere was the DJ's impeccable song selection. The playlist was a dynamic mix, seamlessly transitioning between genres and tempos, keeping the energy just right without ever being overwhelmingly loud/ sometimes loud based on the crowd request . It created a fantastic backdrop for conversation and relaxation, contributing significantly to the overall positive vibe of the place. After seeing the good reviews about the Restobar, I decided to check it out. It was a Sunday evening and as I entered the nicely lit up doorway, I was not sure what kinda place it is going to be. The staff promptly took my temperature and made sure I sanitized my hands.

However, as I entered the main hall, I was suddenly reminded of 'Long John Silver' of RL Stevenson's novel Treasure Island. Although I did not encounter any pirate, (had there been some visiting, I would have felt at home with them) the ship decor of the bar, ambience that resembles a ship's deck on a moonless night.

The layout of the seating arrangements, bar stools and the dance floor are ergonomic and have free space for circulation of patrons as well as staff. This is an important aspect in these times of physical distance norms. The lighting was also just sufficient without any overdoing.

As I ordered my fav drink, found the bar well stocked and the bar man displayed his experience by his dexterous moves in makiing the drink and serving it in style.

The Chicken Tikka and Paneer starters I ordered were yummy, especially the juicy and soft tikka with the right amount of spices and almost nil grease.

As the DJ belted some foot tapping numbers, I joined the small crowd at the floor to shake a leg.

A game of pool and I moved towards the buffet dinner. Again the lay-out of the evening's menu was impeccable and I settled with my fav Chicken Biryani and Chicken Varutha Curry. Well, they too tasted good and the hot Gulab Jamuns were the last to be enjoyed.

Well after a long hiatus, I had a good time at Crazy Ivan, thanks to the ambience and food. Kudos, management. I don't normally award a five...

Crazy Ivan isn’t just a resto bar – it’s an experience, and one that keeps getting better every single time. I’ve been here more than 15 times (and counting!), and not once have I left disappointed. Whether it’s a casual evening or a full-blown celebration, this place never fails to deliver.

The ambience is vibrant yet cozy, with an energy that instantly lifts your spirits. The food is absolutely delicious, consistently well-prepared and served with flair. And the drinks? Top-notch – the mixologists know what they’re doing!

One of the biggest highlights for me is the music and DJ – always on point, setting the perfect vibe no matter the occasion. It’s the kind of place where you can’t help but dance, even if you didn’t plan to.

We recently hosted a farewell party for a friend here, and the team went above and beyond. They arranged personalised décor and created an atmosphere that was both memorable and full of warmth. The entire setup was flawless and made the event extra special.

And of course, a huge shoutout to Niki – the host and dost! His energy, attention to detail, and hospitality are unmatched. He makes everyone feel welcome and ensures you have a fantastic time every time.
