When ramasamy mama(founder of TRICHY cafe) was running the hotel, the hotel quality was good. Mami also used to come and frequently checks all the processes of the hotel.

He goes to every corner of hotel and ensures customer was happy. Even at the age of 70 and more he was working for more than 16 hours a day.

His son Narayanan sir is running the hotel now. He could work like his father. Food quality in all aspects has gone down. Not only me, every one who is a fan of TRICHY cafe is feeling the same. They come still now come only on the memories and quality what was there before when ramasamy mama was used to give to us.

Staff and server behaviour is too rude. Not to find fault with them. When asked, for the salary they are given, they work more than that. They should be given good salary to motivate them.

We ordered simple plain dosa. The quality is too poor.

Set dosa and Vada curry was good.

Servers are not giving or not caring about the customers who eat there. They should frequently ask sambar and chutney while customers are eating or they ask for it.

I used to rarely see Narayanan sir in the hotel. He should be present for the maximum time to ensure customers happy.

Previously we had good managers to ensure customer happiness of the hotel. Now no one is there.

This hotel exists right from the days I , started studying my Pre University Course at Chikkaiah Naicker Mahajana College, Erode in the year 1967 . At that time the only other college that offered collegiate education very near to Erode is the St. Joseph's College, Tiruchy .

Even today they offer limited meals for Rs .100 . The meal consists of rice , sambar, rasam , puli kolamu ,butter milk , kootu , porial , thayir pachadi ,pickle, appalam . Curd can be had by paying Rs. 15 extra . Meals are tasty & hygienic and the waiters are cleany clad. Meals are served in first floor only . You have to climb atleast 15 stairs . In the morning and evening they serve tiffin & snacks.

Rest rooms are there. No private parking lot . You have to park your two wheelers before the hotel with some difficulty. 4 wheelers can't be parked before the outlet. Not wheelchair accessible.
