Wow! Momo — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

I recently visited the Wow Momo outlet at Thirumangalam Metro Station, Chennai, and was shocked to see that the same pan and fryer were being used for both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. This raises serious concerns about hygiene and cross-contamination, especially for customers with dietary preferences.

Unfortunately, this isn't the first time I've faced issues with Wow Momo. A few months ago, I placed an online order, and my vegetarian dish was delivered with non-vegetarian labels on the packaging. Despite reaching out to the founder, Sagar Daryani, the response so far has been unsatisfactory.

I hope the management takes this issue seriously and implements proper food safety protocols...

I had a terrible experience today at WOW! Momo, Thirumangalam (near Metro branch). The place was shockingly unhygienic — it literally looked like a garbage dump. Definitely not a place where you'd want to eat food.

I ordered chicken steam momos, and to my surprise, they charged an extra ₹5 for "Eco Packaging" — which feels like a joke given the state of the place. Even worse, when I asked for a spoon, the staff refused and said they don’t provide spoons for steam momos as per management instructions. The salesperson insisted I eat with my bare hands. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable hygiene standards.

The hygiene here is zero. I ordered a fried momo… I saw myself that one of the momo fell on the ground while taking it out from the fryer. The employees used the same momo for pan frying again. To which I objected than they were sorry. There is no culture in the company to give customers good and hygienic food. Disappointing !!!!
