Smoke Hub BBQ - Chrompet (Pallavaram) — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

We went to vadapalani branch. No separate parking area available. You have to park on road side only. Entrance was bad, as it was digged....many people, especially old aged struggle to walk.when comes to ambience, it is in second floor (lift available) small hall only...nearly accomodate 70 people approx. No Extra Amenities.... Available..as you have in their other branches....!! Children play area not available...stage or 3D entertainment are not available in this branch Becoz of its small hall...area.

They have limited in time of Max. Of 2 hours per table..for dinning.

Food and it's price

When comes to food price, 50% off for women (rs. 499 and children(299) approx. Slightly vary with tax charges. For men it's Rs. 879 (slightly vary). They are offering buffet in Veg and Non-Veg. First, they are offered, starters ....more varieties are there in starters (limited quantity they only serve according to the members) after that it's open buffet...with unlimited quantity...main food limited with veg fried rice, chicken and mutton biryani, white rice with sambar & rasam, curd rice(separately) with side dish and poriyals...then noodles and pasta. After that, they have separate counters for tiffen and junk foods...you may go and have whatever you want...dosai with chocolate and non vegs...is super..then customised pizza,momos, donuts...are available. Drinks (mojitos) vary with nearly 10 flavours ... finnally desserts ...there are nearly 15 desserts...like pawn drinks, gulab jamun,rabri,moose,cakes,sweets, ice creams (customised) etc....

We had a bad experience, there was EB shut down when we went on that day (even we pre booked a table, they didn't inform it prior) No AC, kept only 2 coolers...which made the smoke were circulated within the premises...leads to ..our eyes were sheded with 😭 tears..as the entire room were closed, no windows for out air....very disgusting...

So, finally you can enjoy the food. You must have patience and try each variety...take 1 or 2 from each, So that you can taste all things. Otherwise you can't able to eat much.

They offer Naturals parlour coupon for Rs.1000/- it's only applicable in downstairs natural beauty parlour with limited time.

If you hang out to take good buffet it's good in this branch.... But if you hang out with family and kids ...just go for other branches...which have extra amenities to enjoy and...

We went as a big family of ten, so we wanted to join tables to make it a single, large table. The hotel team proactively contacted us beforehand to check on any specific arrangements, which was a very thoughtful gesture and highly appreciated.

When it came to the food, they first served their signature dishes, and to be honest, they were finger-licking good! Everyone loved the honey chicken, and the mutton and egg dishes were also excellent. Now, onto the downsides: the barbecues were pretty disappointing, which was surprising and not something we expected. In fact, the standout item in the barbecue section was the grilled pineapples – not even the non-vegetarian options. The self-serve dishes, however, were better. The naan, paneer, and chicken gravies were delicious, and a special mention goes to the dosas with toppings of our choice, which were made to perfection. The mini cakes were delightful as well – I ended up eating about ten of them!

As for the other side of the menu, nothing stood out. Most of it was either disappointing or simply there to fill the menu. For instance, the pastas, chaat, donuts, waffles, and even the gulab jamuns were subpar. It seemed like they were included just to expand the menu but didn’t add much to the overall experience. Overall, in terms of food quality, the signature dishes, naan, gravies, dosas, and noodles were good. Unfortunately, the rest felt more like a gimmick.

On the service front, it was fabulous. Our server was incredibly kind and attentive, checking in periodically to make sure we were enjoying the food. When we mentioned that some dishes weren’t up to par, he kindly offered us better options. For example, the filling for the pav bhaji was almost as minimal as the butter they used, but when we pointed it out, he quickly brought us extra fillings. He certainly deserves five stars for his excellent service!

The atmosphere was good – nothing to complain about there. As for the final verdict, I would say you might be better off dining at another restaurant for this price range. We went because we had a 50% discount on our total bill, which made it worth it, but otherwise, I wouldn’t consider it an ideal choice for a...

Worst decision to go to this place......

To start with taking bookings

This place wants you to pay in advance (50%) I guess to reserve the seats, what a scam it is 😭. I didn't pay anything but tried to go and try out their buffet menu. I have booked for around 15 people and we ended up at 16 PPL. Except us there are only two other group, full female group of 7 people and a family of 5 PPL are the only customer that time of the day, இதுகு எதுகு advance payment pana than seat nu சொன்னீங்க ? Advance is not refundable in case you didn't go as planned... Enna koduma sir idhu. Rules எல்லாம் நல்ல சொல்றிங்கபா

We reached ontime so no problem, but they started service only by 12:20pm stating sir your time is until 2 only enna da இது, first welcome drink, idhuku water better. Then starters started around 12:30, even then we didn't get the bbq setup in the table, rest is comedy.

Each skewers they brought had only 2 small pieces of meat or prawns & fish is so pathetic one cannot agree it's fish, I have regretted my decision of going to this place when I first took that fish bite. Refer photos

The as we are full boys gang started our rakala, asked them to serve fast as they are not even as fast a sloth 🤯🦥. Slowly they improved their serving speed by the day we are at 1:30pm on the clock no use. People started to move around to have main course and deserts.

Main course simply waste no words to say, mutton kulambu la no mutton, even egg gravy la quater egg kuda illa, when asked sir time over nu sonan .... I was like dai inum 1:30 than still more time poi konduva nu solitu, went to seat , you could guess what would have happened. Refer photo attached

I have never seen a gulab jamun of this size in my life under desert section, enda oru neyam vendama da . Ice creams are the only better dish that we had on the entire menu and some fruits.

Over all for 16 people the bill was ₹ Kami than - so at last I was not happy but they did justice to all those problems described about.

In one word "If you are giving treat for just name sake and don't want to treat people inga ponga, illa a choose a better place".
