Zamzam snacks — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

Not what I ordered and what I got I did not like. Fuel not cuisine. But what did I expect in a sandwich and a drink for only INR90? Messy, popular and cheap.

I pointed to a display of pomegranates and expected, as in Mumbai, real juice. Instead I got milk, sugar and flavouring. Likewise I pointed to a photo of a club sandwich (three tier with lots of assorted veggies) and got a melted cheese sandwich into which they threw some salad. Very disappointing. Thank goodness it was very cheap and after an appointment I would get a real meal elsewhere.

Deep-fried bananas and vread omelette seem to be their specialty. I have had street food that is a lot tastier and more nutritious. This is a place for male labourers and tuk tuk drivers on a low budget? Carbs...
