I visited Paradise, LB Road today on the occasion of Eid. It was totally empty when I entered. I asked for tissue papers and the attendant dropped a bunch of tissue papers on the table. I ordered meal for one combo. When I tasted the Mutton biriyani, it was so salty that I couldn’t even have the third bite of it. Four tiny pieces of chicken tikka were served with some onion rings and an almost squeezed piece of lemon carelessly thrown on the big plate. I noticed that there was a hair strand on one of the chicken tikkas. I called the store manager and explained the situation. Someone came to replaced the biriyani and very rudely put the replaced plates on the table and just left. This time it wasn’t salty but the taste was nothing like Paradise biriyani I used to have in Hyderabad. It was very basic, tikkas were also small and very dry. After they kept the bill on my table, I immediately kept my money with it. Still they took so long to roam around almost empty restaurant to pick up the money. After a while they came back to say they didn’t have 100 rupees with them. My bill was 398 and i kept 500 note. Such a big store didn’t have a 100 note. They were just harassing me at that point. They initiated card transaction, kept the card swiping machine on the table and left. Didn’t even bother to finish the transaction themselves. I was so excited to try Paradise Biryani first time in Chennai but I was so disappointed. It ruined my...

Buyer has to stand in line to get bill 2.buyer has to give bill and get a token 3.buyer has to find a seat n to put the token on table 4.server will take our food n search the token number on all the tables ..
Funny thing our food will run around all the tables in server hand... Ppl be sitting n keep seeing server .. Few are raising the token n showing ... Few peeping our foods in server hand ... And funny the server forgets the token number when he walks to table .. Again he go to counter for confirmation of table number..
Overall the experience is very very very bad and waste of food .. Since am a jovial type I just made it funny .. If ppl are serious he or she ll fight there...
Read moreI visited this place for having my lunch. I ordered a chicken nizam biriyani along with coke. I must say the food was delicious and no regrets on the same.
However the hospitality cannot be appreciated. Following are my experiences As a basic, water was not served. Serving person had asked about it at the time of bill payment. They never detailed about the offers that was Available for the day. I believe they had an offer for takeaway. Had I known that, I would have opted for takeaway. Infact I had specifically asked him about the available offers. AC was too low and when enquired i was told this is their limit and cannot be adjusted. There were two people to serve and they take a long time to attend you. All the above changes at the time of bill payment. They force you to provide positive feedback and at times it feels like they expect a mandatory tip for this kind of service. Expecting a tip is not wrong, but expecting a tip for this awful service is definitely wrong.
I think its better to stick with takeaways and online orders, rather dining in here. As I said before, the food was really good. No issues...
