OYO 15963 City Manor — Hotel in Zone 13 Adyar

I stayed two days at The City Manor hotel in Thiruvanmiyur, Chennai. The hotel is in a very good location. Very easy to reach. The bus stop is just a few meters away from the hotel and 1 kilometre away from Thiruvanmiyur railway station. The hotel is very near to the city, beach, theatre and restaurants. Easily accessible by car. The hotel is very near to a high residential area.

I stayed in a non AC room. They provide only a small soap I didn't get any towel. The room is ok but the toilet was not fully hygienic. They give newspaper in the morning. Sometimes the TV doesn't have sound and if we try to contact room service through the phone in the room it will not be connected to the office. Sometimes the water in the bathroom smells like very dirty. There is only a window in the room. Otherwise, there is no proper air vent in the room. Sometimes we feel very uncomfortable because of the absence of air vent. There is a big wastebasket is seen in front of the hotel it also disgusting.

I have a direct booking with this hotel and they charged 1100 per day. With this amount, AC rooms are available nearby. The rooms have less cost with different hotel...

Bathroom taps all not cleaned for years, fully corroded, but bath room floor and toilet were clean.

Drinking water was served in flask like pot, spider web bounch near its opening! told the room boy to take it back.

Brought dirty extra bed

we were having our bedsheets covered everything with that, very uncomfortable anyway.

reception number was not 9. no information on the phone.

after knowing the reception no called no one responded. hot water control was switched off from control room. took cold bath.

not worth to stay becos of cleanliness & bad service, but location is a big plus, also good connectivity bustop, auto and you can park ur car in front of that at...

Excellent hotel, cost effective, value for money, clean, nicely maintained, free high speed WiFi, TV, little on-premise and lots of private roadside car parking. Located in prime location with easy approach. Lots of utility shops and next door bus stop is a huge plus. Lack of restaurant is the only con but lots of nearby great quality food restaurants like Jayanthi Bhavan is a huge plus! Very honest, they proactively called up, followed-up and helped me get back my expensive blue-tooth headset, which I left in the hotel room on check-out. Thanks to Mr. Marimuthu for his excellent care and honesty! Sure a great place to stay!
