Tired of having the same Western cuisine every where? What not try some desi Indian cuisine 😍😋. Nav gomantak provides you with some amazing Indian cuisines which will make you proud of our Desi Indian cuisine!! It's owned by chef parag who has 27 years of experience I guess this information is good enough for y'all to understand why i was so satisfied by the food provided by them. This place is will give you konkan/ Goan vibes. The songs they play the articrafts the decor everything is inspired or designed in konkan/ Goan style. Even their service was pretty good the were really quick and response. List of items I had:- ⏺️ Beverages ( Thanda peya):- ✔️Sol kadhi ✔️Kokum Saar ✔️Fresh lime soda Sol kadhi was really amazing so do try it out. Kokum Saar was good but was a little overpowering. Even the fres lime soda was good. Moving on to food:-

⏺️Starters:- ✔️Surmai tawa fry ✔️Rawa coated rawas ✔️Prawns fry ✔️ Chicken sukkhe ✔️Kothimbir wadi ✔️Bhaji che kaap To be honest I loved most of the starters, especially Surmai tawa fry, prawns fry and chicken sukkhe were amazing. So do check them out.

⏺️Thali:- ✔️ Chicken Masala In thali I went with chicken masala thali. It consisted of chicken masala, Rassa, Sol kadhi, salad, pickle, rice and came with a option of either chapatti or bhakri or bhajani Wade. I went with bhajne Wade. The thali was really good, really loved it. ✔️Crab masala:- I even tried crab masala which was amazing. I really loved it's gravy and the crab 🦀, I don't even have words to describe how good it was. And the best part was they used cutter to cut the shells of the crab which made it easy for me to enjoy the crab without any mess. Really loved it. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

⏺️ DESSERTS:- ✔️ Jackfruit ice cream ✔️Jamun ice cream ✔️Puranpoli ice cream ✔️Gulacha kharvas All the above ice creams were home made so to be honest I didn't expect it to be so good but surprisingly they were amazing I really loved the Jamun and the jackfruit ice cream. Even Gulacha kharvas was good and something new for me.

Nav gomantak in panch pakhadi thane is one of the few places which you would want to visit again and again. Nav gomantak brings to you some authentic Maharashtrian cuisine food especially the sea food. This place had a very beautiful ambience and warmth associated with it Coming directly to the food we had :- 1.prawns starter : it was very Delicious and tasty. 2.chicken Sukkhe(Starter)- As the name suggests.. this dish consists of deep fried chicken peices marinated with some exotic spices which made it even more tastier. 3.pompret fry (starter) : Pomfret fry was extremely good in taste and was very soft and juicy which enhanced the overall taste. Now in the main course section:- Chicken xacuti thali : chicken xacuti thali comes with the options of bhakri / wada / roti along with coconut chutney, chicken curry, son kadi and some extra rassa. This combination is the essence of every chicken lover and the Maharashtrian cuisine. It will remind you of your good old childhood days when you used to have such kind of authentic food. This thali is highly recommended for those who love chicken and want to try some authentic traditional Maharashtrian thali . Surmai thali : coming to an authentic sea food place and not having surmai thali or any fish thali for that matter is an utter disgrace! Surmai thali had the same items as in chicken thali. The surmai fish was delicious as hell to be honest...a heaven thali for sea food lovers and highly recommended. And for the dessert we were already full but then too we tried KHARVAS or milk pudding you can say which was like the king. It was yummy that I can literally have if for more than 10 times in a row. You must have this if you are planning to visit gomantak!! All in all this place is a traditional Maharashtrian/Goan cuisine combination which will never let you down in terms of taste. Prices are also low as compared to other traditional sea food hotels. Two adults can have their tummies full for 700-1000 bucks which is literally worth it. Highly recommended place and if you are anywhere near thane area ..please do...

So Nav Gomantak is a multi cusine sea food restaurant owned by Chef. Parag, who has immense love for Goan food . He wants to serve people with authentic food with a twist . The ambience is really soothing. The vibes in hear are sheer. The staff is really helpful and kind . The quantity of food is good . The taste is perfect and authentic.

What we had ?

🔶French kiss :-

This was really refreshing Mocktail. A perfect way to start a meal.

🔷Garden cooler:-

Garden cooler was something different in taste it wasn't really sweet beause it had kush syrup in it , it was a new experience for us . 🔶Kothimbir vade:-

The presentation of kothimbir vade was top notch , they we're crispy even after 15, 20 mins and tasted really authentic.

🔷Bheja tawa fry:-

A must try starter the taste is way too amazing, also with a dash of lemon over it will really enhance it's taste over , best bheja fry we ever had.

🔶Chicken fry masala :-

This is a perfect appetizer for chicken lover , the costal touch given to it by adding coconut really makes it authentic and taste so perfect.

🔷Mutton sukha thali:-

This had mutton sukha masala one gravy and solkadhi . The amount of meat was decent enough. Also the taste was so good one cannot resist to lick their fingers.

🔶Prawns sukha thali:-

It had prawns sukha gravy, and normal gravy and solkadhi also it came with option of chapati/ bhakri / vade.The masala gravy was really so good and went well with chapati. The normal gravy went well with rice . A must try dish for prawns lovers.

And for dessert we had gulab jamun . These were big , soft and really hot , a perfect way to end such a delicious meal.

So overall , the owner really tries to maintain the authenticity of costal food , and he has very much succeeded in this . Every dish is made with utmost love and with a sense of serving people amazing multi cusine sea food . If you love authentic sea food you should definitely visit...
