Had a terrible experience at this cafe. The food quality and taste were good, but the service was absolutely awful. It didn’t feel welcoming at all—more like "don't bother coming" or "don't expect anything more."
We, as a group, arrived around 10 pm because the closing time was 11 pm. I even called beforehand to confirm if we should come, and they said, "Come, come, we have food." But when we got there, we placed our order, and after a while, the supervisor told us that one of the items was unavailable, in a very rude tone. Instead of apologizing or suggesting alternatives, he made it seem like we were bothering him. It felt like he just didn’t want to serve us anything else.
We ended up asking for whatever was available, but when we asked for more of the food we had, he said, "No, we can't cook more. We have other guests waiting," in a very rude way. He was rude to other customers too, saying no to everything we asked for. This was after I confirmed on the phone that we should come, and he said yes.
In the end, he finally asked what kind of noodles we wanted, and we thought it would only take a few minutes. But after 20 minutes, we were full, so we asked to cancel the order. He refused and said we had to eat and pay, again in a terrible tone. Worst service ever!
I will never suggest visiting such places. There are plenty of really good such places available nearby with much better service and much...

I recently visited Varanasi during the Dev Dipawali festival with my family, and amidst the bustling Ghats and crowded restaurants, we stumbled upon a true gem - 'Assi Ka Diljeet Cafe'.
After a random internet search for an Indian restaurant with good ambiance, I was drawn to this place by its decent ratings and inviting interior photos. I can confidently say it was one of the best decisions of my last Varanasi trip.
We ordered Butter Naan, Aloo Gobi, Masala Bhindi, Paneer Tikka Masala, and Jeera Rice. Every dish was meticulously prepared, and I must highlight the delightful complementary addition of vinegar onions and green chillies. The restaurant is not only known for its scrumptious food but also for its cleanliness and cool ambiance.
If you find yourself around Assi Ghat, I highly recommend trying this small yet beautiful restaurant. The only drawback worth mentioning is the traditional ground seating arrangement, which might pose a challenge for older individuals. It would be great if the restaurant considers alternative seating options.
Overall, Assi Ka Diljeet Cafe offers an unforgettable dining experience, making it a must-visit for anyone exploring the culinary delights...
