During our month-long trip to various cities in India, my boyfriend and I experienced some stomach issues due to the food. We were missing Korean cuisine and were delighted to find Mr. Chulsoo's restaurant in Varanasi. Despite some mixed reviews, we found the food to be delicious and enjoyed our conversations with the warm and friendly owner. We ended up visiting the restaurant for three consecutive days. On our last day, we were hesitant to leave our luggage at our Airbnb due to a rude host. We called Mr. Chulsoo and he kindly agreed to watch our bags until we returned for dinner. Overall, I highly recommend Cheolsoo Cafe to anyone looking for Korean food and a welcoming atmosphere...

Strolling down the Varanasi ghats I was surprised to find this Korean restaurant. The owner is a humble gentleman passionate about South Korean culture to where he runs a family business from his home. The food (I can't judge properly as I'm not Korean) had the recognizable Korean flavors I've had before and was quite delicious! He also does ghat boat tours for Korean tourists and non-Koreans alike. If you're into Korean food and want a break from the thali lunch sets, chapati and samosas check his place out! It's tucked away but worth it! It takes courage opening up a Korean joint in a predominantly Hindu...

Good Food but an extremely difficult place to find. We tried jjangmyeon, their fried chicken, bibbimbap and I think there was gimbap too, if I'm not wrong. They provide complementary sides as well like kimchi. Food was more on the milder side, we expected some spice though! But overall great experience, especially finding the place moving past all those galis was an enthralling experience. And OH! Near the restaurant there are shops that sell very Indian clothes...
