This unassuming gem doesn't have any of the frills of some of the other cafes in the area and the menu doesn't seem extensive, but the chef and the staff are some of the best people/cooks I met in all of Banaras. I have many, many, many food allergies and I walked into this place tired and hungry and tried to hit just a few of the biggest ones. The chef came out and talked to me and asked me all my preferences and problems and then MADE SOMETHING UP FOR ME. I'm not kidding. I was like "I want soup but I can't eat this and this and this and oh yeah, I have a train so I want to feel full and not like I drank salty water." They turned that mess into an actual meal and even made me a little dessert that I could eat!
I was alone so they even came out and chatted with me and I felt like I had stepped into a friend's home. Plus the mission of this place is pretty cool. I didn't get to learn as much as I wanted about it, but it's all part of the Kiran Society.
Definitely definitely go...

They serve different english and french as well as indian cuisines the indegrediants of which like bread butter jam are self manufactured by differently abled children of KIRAN. They are quite tasty and hygenic and they serve well in this cafe. The cafe has very good vibes and has good artistic theming. Whenever I eat here along with tasty food served here. I also have a cosmopolitan feeling that by eating here I am helping KIRAN who are working for a good social cause. You will also find suveniers here in this cafe made by different abled children.
