Mark's Cafe-Diner — Restaurant in Uttar Pradesh

Place is nice and the owner is very courteous. You will get a very nice cup of Americano as well. That's the good part. However, the food is sub-par, cold, and pricey for its quality. We ordered an Oreo shake which was pathetic and we had to discard it right away. I have had much better shakes in my experience. Although the owner was nice enough to accept the criticism, he refused to agree that it was bad.

My recommendation would be to visit this place for a nice cup of black coffee and that's about it.

Since I cannot respond to the owner below his response, I am editing my review. This is an unbiased review as I have nothing to gain or lose by providing a good or bad review. For context, I did appreciate the amazing coffee we were served! As much as the owner thinks his food and Oreo shake is amazing, I am entitled to my opinion based on my experience from around the world. I would cordially invite the owner to come with me so I can make him taste some classic Oreo shakes! :)

And trust me, a discount of 20% is not enough for someone to endure your twisted Oreo shake. Also, never thought you would end up being such a crybaby over one negative review even though the reviews below me also say the same thing regarding your food being average and pricey. Not giving a chance for people to even come for that nice cup of Joe!

Look this place out,it's tucked away in a corner and on the first floor of the building. The food is great the coffee is divine! The cause behind the trust that runs Mark's is honorable. So not only do you get good, clean fresh food and excellent coffee you can do your bit to help others in this fabulous intriguing often frustrating but ultimately rewarding city. Do yourself a huge favour and patronize Mark's cafe-diner you won't find better. In so many reviews I read that the prices are high. In comparison to what? To any western tourist the prices are perfectly acceptable and in case one doesn't get it, this place returns all profits to the community! I speak only as a western tourist and mean no offense to my Indian brothers...
