The pizza (which we ordered for dinner at 8 PM) was bad to less than average at best. My wife didn't even have a second slice, even though we both were fasting for the entire day.
If Roma's management is reading this, please don't get me wrong. You did have lots of exotic veggies on the pizza, but the cheese and the veggies tasted unsalted and unsavory. Overall, the pizza was not worth the price, even after the Swiggy Rs 200 discount.
Secondly, the amount of vegetables was excessive. It felt as if we are eating salad.
Thirdly, I know that you cannot ensure hot pouches or boxes (like Domino's) for third-party deliveries. But you should know that I live just 4 km from your restaurant and still the pizza delivered was cold and cheese had solidified like mucus. In such situations, it would have helped if the vegetables and cheese were salted properly. But in your cold pizza (which I understand you have no control over), everything was unsalted or poorly salted, which made things worse. Additionally, I wrote a note while ordering to give oregano packets. But your restaurant gave just ONE oregano packet (though there were 3-4 tomato sauce and red chili flakes packets).
Fourthly, the crust was hard like Pa-Pa bakery biscuits sold on roadside. Don't get me wrong, I like such pizza base that are hard and crunchy (like OvenStory's expensive pizzas), but not everyone likes this. Many people, like my wife, prefer soft base.
Fifth, you charge so much money. You should explain about the base, cheese, and everything in product description in detail so people can make an informed choice.
Overall, this pizza would have tasted average (not nice) in the restaurant, but in delivery, the experience was terrible. You need to ask the chef to salt the veggies and cheese on the pizza.
Other suggestions: Cheese and oil sticks to the cardboard box and it's unhealthy and leaky. This also happens with your garlic bread that you give in white cardboard box. You need to put a thin sheet of baking paper under you pizza (The Yellow Chilli, Mahmoorganj, manager does this for me, but yours didn't even when I called him immediately after placing the order). You must instruct your managers to read customer's note we write in Swiggy and Zomato note box. You need to train your managers who pick up the phone call to be customer friendly and listen to everything before jumping to disconnect the call.
This review was for your pizza and hence the 1 star. If it were for overall food, my rating would be 3.8 stars. I have also dined at your restaurant a few times, and the atmosphere is nice, but service is average.
I love your other food items, by the way. They are super-expensive, but with coupons on Swiggy and Zomato, they become worth the price. Without discount coupons, the price, packaging charges, and taxes all add up, and it becomes too much, and...
Read moreI recently visited Roma’s Cafe and was absolutely impressed! It’s one of those hidden gems that makes you want to come back again and again. Whether you're going for a casual hangout, a cozy date, or even some peaceful solo time, this place has it all.
Let’s start with the interior hands down one of the best I've seen in a cafe. The vibe is a perfect mix of modern comfort and aesthetic charm. They’ve paid attention to every detail, from warm lighting to stylish furniture, and the library corner truly steals the show. It's perfect for book lovers or anyone wanting to sit in a quiet nook with a coffee and unwind.
Now on to the food absolutely delicious and satisfying! We ordered the Veggie Nachos and Veg Hakka Noodles, and both were full of flavor and perfectly cooked. The nachos were crispy with generous toppings, and the Hakka noodles had that authentic Indo-Chinese taste we all love. The quantity of food served is also really good definitely value for money.
For drinks, we tried the Cold Coffee and Chocolate Shake. The cold coffee was smooth and refreshing, just the way it should be. But the chocolate shake wow! Rich, creamy, and just the right amount of sweetness. If you’re a chocolate lover, don’t miss it!
The staff at Roma's Cafe are another highlight. Everyone was polite, welcoming, and attentive without being overbearing. It really adds to the overall great experience when you're served with a smile and genuine hospitality.
One of the things I appreciate most is that the place feels very inviting and warm. Whether you're a student looking for a cozy corner to study, a group of friends catching up, or someone who just wants to enjoy good food in a relaxed setting, Roma’s Cafe caters to everyone.
Everything from the taste and portion size to the ambiance and service reflects a place that truly cares about customer satisfaction. They’ve created a space that goes beyond just being a cafe; it’s an experience.
To sum it up, Roma’s Cafe is amazing! It ticks all the right boxes: fantastic food, beautiful interiors, friendly staff, and a calm atmosphere. If you're in the area, this cafe is definitely worth a visit. I’ll surely be going back soon and next time, I’m bringing more friends along!

Read moreI recently visited Roma Diner again in the bustling area of Lanka, Varanasi, and I must say, it was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish! This place is a true gem — offering not only a warm and inviting ambience but also an exceptional culinary journey that will leave you wanting more.
Let me start with their Mojito Pitcher — hands down, one of the best mojitos I’ve ever had anywhere! It’s refreshing, perfectly balanced in flavor, and served generously, making it ideal for sharing with friends (though you might just want it all for yourself!). The blend of mint, lemon, and just the right amount of fizz makes it incredibly addictive and a must-have when you visit.
Now coming to the food — if you’re at Roma Diner and haven’t tried the Methi Makai, you’re truly missing out. This dish is a flavor bomb! The subtle bitterness of fenugreek leaves blends beautifully with the sweetness of corn, all cooked in a rich, creamy gravy that feels both indulgent and comforting. It’s hearty, satisfying, and pairs wonderfully with naan or jeera rice. It’s one of those rare vegetarian dishes that even hardcore non-veg lovers will rave about.
The service here is another big plus. The staff is courteous, attentive, and always ready to make suggestions based on your preferences. The vibe of the place is perfect for both casual lunches and cozy dinners. Whether you’re catching up with friends, going out with family, or even planning a relaxed solo meal, Roma Diner makes you feel right at home.
In a city like Varanasi, which is known for its street food and traditional cuisine, Roma Diner brings a refreshing twist with its curated menu, quality ingredients, and contemporary yet comfortable setting.
Highly recommend! Don’t leave Varanasi without trying the Mojito Pitcher and Methi Makai here. You’ll...
