I had my expectations low, since Lucknow is not known for doing good pan-asian food, leave alone Japanese/Korean. 1st Impressions: The ambiance is not bad, but a bit kitsch. Mostly indoor seating. The place though had a person singing retro Indian songs, which was probably clashing with the food/ambiance Food: Ordered a chicken sushi which was a disaster. The tiny, nearly flat discs of rice were a mockery of what sushi should be. After just one here, I highly won't recommend their sushi of any type. The Korean chicken bao were enormous steamed buns with substantial fillings of Korean stir fried chicken, fried garlic and some sauce. Again, the steamed buns weren't quite as light and fluffy as they should be and the filling was passable. Also tried their prawn siu mai, which was poorly made. For mains, we had rice and their Thai curry which was extremely watery with overtones of coconut cream gone bad. Pretty horrible. The dessert was mango pudding which wasn't bad (more a souffle than a pudding) but tasty. The cocktails were pretty average as well. Found a strand of hair in the chicken I ordered. Restaurant didn’t really do anything to compensate. They served a few pieces of another chicken dish (probably ordered by another table since it was then taken right away after serving). Restaurant wasn’t busy on that day either. No compensation except the server “being sorry” about it. I was also charged for that dish with the hair in it. Wasn’t expecting such a response from a restaurant of this level after making such a big blunder. P.S. Adding after their response to this: They only served two pieces of that dish offered by them and the rest was taken away. I had already received my packed item package before those 2 replacement pieces were served so I don’t know what they claim to have packed in the response. They say they “offered dessert” which did not happen at all. I ordered and ate dessert (which i paid for), so yes I was full. Why would we consume two desserts even if they asked or anything at all over the whole dinner? Food, ambience, serivce, atmosphere everything is 5/5 with no doubts. It is one of the best outlets in the city for pan asian food. I choose their lunch buffet which believe me is very very apt in price as well as the variety they offer. The buffet includes the starter, theain course and the deserts. There are about 10-12 varieties of food that you can taste in the buffet. The buffet is held everyday during the lunch, please confirm the timings with the Restaurant before going. The resturant offers both veg and non veg menu, buffet is allso available in both opptions. The staffs were Excellent. The place is well maintained and decorated, good cleanliness and hygiene. Food was very well made, keeping in my dietary restrictions of no chilli and spicy. Kudos to them for that. It is a family resturant, kid friendly as well. This resturant will definitely go with elderly as well. Apart from buffet you have huge variety in the food menu as well. They have an in house bar too. I visited in afternoon on a weekend and it was not crowding. They have spacious seat arrangements.
