During my recent visit to Chotiwala Restaurant, I was quite disappointed with the overall dining experience. The restaurant has a well-known name and a strong reputation, so naturally, I expected a wide range of delicious North Indian dishes as mentioned in their menu. However, to my surprise, most of the items listed on the menu were unavailable.
When we asked for our choices, we were informed that only two items were being served Chole Bhature and Puri Bhaji. This was quite frustrating, especially for a place that presents itself as a full-service traditional restaurant. A limited menu may be acceptable during off-hours or under special circumstances, but there was no prior notice or explanation for such a restriction.
It felt like a classic case of “big name, small service.” The ambiance and branding create high expectations, but the actual food variety and service delivery do not match the hype. For a restaurant with such a strong legacy, I believe this kind of experience can be disheartening for many first-time visitors and tourists.
I sincerely hope the management looks into this issue either update the menu to reflect what is consistently available or ensure that the promised variety is truly offered. A name like Chotiwala carries cultural and historical value, and it deserves to live up to that reputation not just in name, but in...

Hygiene Concerns: The overall hygiene standards left much to be desired, raising immediate concerns about cleanliness.
Limited Food Options: The menu was lacking as several food items were not available, limiting the choices for diners.
Cramped Seating: The seating arrangement was tight and uncomfortable, making the dining experience less enjoyable.
Taste and Portion Size: The food did not meet expectations in terms of flavor, and the portion sizes were small. Considering the high cost, the value for money was questionable.
Unique Element: Amidst these shortcomings, the presence of the Chotiwale, who engaged diners with a unique bell-ringing performance, was the only notable highlight.
Overall, while the bell-ringing performance provided a touch of local charm, the drawbacks in hygiene, food variety, seating, and portion quality made the experience at the Chotiwala outlet less than...
