I had the distinct pleasure of staying at The Reverent Ganga for three nights during the month of June, and it was, without a doubt, one of the most enriching and memorable hospitality experiences I’ve ever encountered.
Nestled directly in front of the sacred Har Ki Pauri, the hotel offers not merely accommodation, but an immersive spiritual and aesthetic experience. The rooftop is a masterclass in architectural grace—elegantly curated to provide an uninterrupted, soul-stirring view of the Ganga Aarti, while also allowing guests to spectate the vibrant and chaotic devotion of the gathered multitudes below.
The ambiance within the hotel is one of refined tranquillity, where tradition meets modernity in perfect harmony. The culinary standards, too, were exemplary. Every meal was freshly prepared in ghee, imbuing each dish with an unmistakable richness and authenticity rarely found elsewhere. The food was not only nourishing but reverential in its preparation.
The staff deserves unqualified praise. From the meticulous housekeeping team to the ever-attentive room service and the culinary artisans in the kitchen, every individual was a paragon of professionalism, courtesy, and warmth. Their combined efforts created an atmosphere that felt both luxuriously indulgent and profoundly comforting.
In sum, The Reverent Ganga is far more than a hotel—it is a sanctum of serenity, reverence, and exemplary service. I wholeheartedly recommend it to any traveller seeking an experience that nourishes both body and soul.

Read moreThe location of the property is undoubtedly excellent. However, I would like to highlight a few concerns, especially considering the premium pricing.
The behavior of the staff was disappointing. We were traveling with our 85-year-old grandmother who wished to witness the Ganga Aarti. When we took her to the rooftop, it was moderately crowded, but there was still space available. We requested a chair for her, given her difficulty in walking. Unfortunately, the staff member on duty responded rudely, saying, "Come later, leave now," in an annoyed tone. Such insensitivity toward elderly guests is unacceptable. At this price point, one expects the staff to be courteous and well-trained.
The food prices are extremely high, comparable to those of upscale 5-star restaurants, yet the quality does not justify the cost. We found the meals to be underwhelming both in taste and value.
Overall, while the location is a clear highlight, the experience fell short of expectations due to poor service and...
