Vyanjan Restaurant — Restaurant in Uttarakhand

I recently had lunch at this restaurant with my family and had a mixed experience.

Food Quality and Pricing: We ordered roti, sabji, dal, and rice. The quantity was sufficient, but the taste was just average. The food is quite expensive for the quality offered.

Billing Issues: We were charged 5% GST, but the bill provided was handwritten and did not include the GST details. When we asked about this, the uncle at the reception gave a vague excuse and promised to send a proper bill via WhatsApp, which we never received.

Service: The staff was rude and appeared to be serving reluctantly, which affected our dining experience negatively.

Ambiance and Cleanliness: The interior of the restaurant is cosy, but the washrooms were not clean, which was disappointing.

Location: The restaurant is located in the market, so it is easy to spot. However, there is no restaurant name displayed outside; you will only see the hotel name, which can be confusing.

Overall Experience: While the quantity of the food was sufficient, the average taste, high prices, poor service, billing issues, and unclean washrooms made the experience less enjoyable. There are definitely areas for...

Fresh, tasty and hygienic food, simple rotis and sabzi, but it was thoroughly satisfying. The ambience is a welcome peaceful space in contrast to the busy bustling street outside. Very clean, and the staff is also friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend. They didn't have some of the items on menu, but the manager was honest and said the reason was they make limited quantities daily so that they can limit wastage and maintain their determination to serve...

Visited this restaurant seeing good rating. However, when we visited the service was not upto the mark and really slow. Food was very bland, no taste in any ordered items. Mix veg had too much black pepper, manchurian tasted raw and chilli paneer had the weirdest gravy ever seen. Expectations were thrown out of the window. Not going to eat here...
