We were very happy to see a Subway outlet in Darjeeling on Gandhi Road very close to the Clock Tower and Chowk market. By now we have grown quite used to choosing our own breads, meats, veggies, sauces, and the other ingredients to help craft our own healthy meal. Besides Subs and Wraps they also had Lays, Cold drinks and Cookies available. We ordered a Chicken Seekh Sub and two Veggie Patty Subs. We could choose the sauces, mayo and other ingredients like cheese, onions, tomatoes, olives, jalapenos, and customised the Sub to our liking. We also ordered a Signature Corn and Peas Wrap. Read moreOkay..first of all,the guy behind the counter should know that he does not run the only subway in India.There are much bigger subway outlets with long queue and not just a couple of customers loitering around in a place which was no larger than a shack.Yet never ever have any of the guys or girls making subs behind the counter misbehaved or talked back to either me or to any other customer that I know of.If the owner of subway,Darjeeling does not hire well-behaved and trained employees then that place is definitely going down.If there had been an option i would have given half a star to that place.Horrible experience and the worst sandwiches...
Read moreVisited recently. We tried the Veg Delite and Veg Aloo Patty Sub, one with multigrain bread and the other with roasted garlic bread. Both were delicious. But there are three problems, one is that the the store was not that clean and maintained, second is that the store did not have proper hygiene and third is that it took way more time than usual. For example in the non-veg counter, butterflies were roaming on the toppings and the staff did not care and still kept making the sub. We had to wait 45-50 mins for two regular subs which was way more time taken than in other subway outlets. Overall, it was a very average...
