I went to the restaurant late after 09 45pm on a Saturday evening. If it was the closing time and the menus are over, they should have informed me at the reception itself. Instead, what they did made me mad on them. They let me in. That's where all the problem started. After letting in, they provided the menu and didn't inform which was available and which was not. We ordered a starter and biriyani. We received only the starter and not the biriyani. It was like more than 30 mins we were waiting for biriyani. At last, the counter person came and informed us that the biriyanis were over. Eventhough, we politely accepted that and tried to get out. But, he forced us to sit by saying that he can make biriyani but it would take another 15 mins. Since, we were hungry, we too accepted. But, he made it after 30 mins again and this time he provided a rice and a some chicken mince gravy on it in the name of biriyani. At that point, we got triggered and asked manager to come to us. The manager too lacked the skill of handling the customers. He tried and convince us that it was a biriyani. Really had a bad night then.
Think about it, we go for a restaurant to spend a quality time expecting a good food and service in a timely manner. What if if you couldn't get any of those and still the hotel didn't took any step on that. Reslly...
Read moreIt is one of the best places in Chennai for authentic Andhra-style food. Their spice level and curated menu do justice to their statement of lip-smacking Andhra cuisine.
Baby Corn 65 - Batter fried baby corn sauteed in spicy and sweet Manchurian sauce; too good with perfect crunch along every bite; WOW 👍
Andhra Chicken curry with Garlic Naan - Andhra style salna with perfectly cooked chicken pieces; unexpected HIT since the meat was tender as it slid from the bone, soupy gravy with excellent secret rayalaseema spices; perfect with the soft Naan 🤩
Supreme BL chicken biryani - Felt a bit weird cause this didn't feel like Andhra style; the meat was juicy and succulent but didn't gel well with the rice, OK 🤔
Veg Kheema masala with Butter roti - Crunchy veggies in aromatic masala; mild spiced, but the thick gravy elevated the taste with the buttery roti 🥰
Andhra pink - OH WOW, Amazing sweet combination of guava and strawberry blended in ice; freaking smooth and delicious ♥️♥️ Raw mango mojito - Quite a unique mojito with sour flavor dominating all over not from the lemon but from the raw mango; soothes the throat all along from the fizz ♥️♥️ Watermelon fizz and elaneer payasam were smooth and sweet; great accompaniment for the meal ♥️♥️
They have valet parking with a large waiting and seating space. Their complete ambiance is cut out for people of all groups, be it a family gathering, friend meet-ups, or corporate lunches/dinners. Great lighting and decor aided by courteous service lights up the experience. On the price part, they are right on the money with every...
Read moreWe visited this restraunt sunday afternoon and extremely disappointed with the meal. Firstly, it’s madly crowded, people are standing and waiting for tables. Next, tables were being shared. Ordered two veg Andhra meals and few side dishes Which was absolute waste of money. I felt this branch is understaffed and failing to manage. As a result they were unable to handle or service the crowd. There is no check as what customer wants and what needs to be served. Less or empty pickle jars. Except Rasam and Buttermilk nothing was good in the meal. Other than tomato and onion it was hard enough to find any other vegetables and dal in Sambar. The Poriyal and chutney weren’t Andhra style, utterly tasteless. Curd was Terrible. Feel sorry for the serving staff who were from North east as they weren’t trained as what food should be served in a sequence in an Andhra meal. Veg meals was priced high and less quality. I feel Andhra mess are far better. Don’t even ask about how the side dishes tasted. I noticed the other customers who were served with Biryanis were also disappointed and unhappy, I don’t think they have proper cooks and supervisors at this branch who understand an Andhra meal. My suggestion to other customers is it’s not worth waiting to have such low quality and high priced meal. I think the restaurant management should reevaluate their operations and save their reputation. It’s high time to think whether you are truly serving...
