Aruvi Veg Restaurant - A Delightful Dining Experience

⭐⭐⭐⭐

Aruvi Veg Restaurant in T. Nagar, Chennai, offers a delightful dining experience for anyone looking to savor authentic vegetarian cuisine. I visited recently and was thoroughly impressed with both the food and the service.

Ambience: The restaurant boasts a warm and inviting atmosphere. The decor is simple yet elegant, making it a perfect spot for family dinners or casual outings with friends. The seating is comfortable, and the space is well-maintained, ensuring a pleasant dining environment.

Food: The highlight of Aruvi Veg Restaurant is undoubtedly its food. The menu is extensive, featuring a variety of South Indian and North Indian dishes. I tried the Masala Dosa and Paneer Butter Masala, both of which were delicious. The dosa was crisp and filled with a flavorful potato masala, while the paneer was soft and perfectly cooked in a rich, creamy gravy. The portion sizes are generous, and the presentation is appealing.

Service: The service at Aruvi Veg Restaurant is commendable. The staff is courteous, attentive, and prompt. They made sure our dining experience was comfortable, frequently checking in to see if we needed anything without being intrusive. The food was served hot and within a reasonable time frame.

Cleanliness: Cleanliness is evidently a priority here. The dining area, restrooms, and even the kitchen, as seen through the open window, were spotless. This attention to hygiene is reassuring, especially in a busy area like T. Nagar.

Value for Money: Considering the quality of food and service, the prices are quite reasonable. It's an excellent place for a hearty meal without breaking the bank.

Room for Improvement: The only minor drawback was the parking. Being located in the bustling T. Nagar area, finding parking can be a bit challenging. However, this is a common issue in this locality and doesn't overshadow the overall positive experience.

In conclusion, Aruvi Veg Restaurant is a gem in T. Nagar for those who appreciate good vegetarian food. I highly recommend it and look forward to...

We visited Aruvi Veg Restaurant in T. Nagar for a family lunch recently. The ambiance was decent and the place seemed well-maintained. We ordered a mix of meals and starters. The food overall was average — the meals were fine but lacked anything special to stand out. The biriyani was okay and might be worth trying once, but nothing extraordinary.

Initially, the service was prompt and welcoming. Each table seemed to have a dedicated waiter, which gave us hope for a smooth dining experience. However, towards the end of our meal, the service began to falter. Some of our additional requests and items were delayed considerably, leaving us frustrated. This inconsistency in service, especially when the restaurant wasn't overly crowded, was disappointing and definitely an area for improvement.

The major letdown was during the billing process. We noticed that the restaurant was listed on apps like EazyDiner and Dineout, which offer discounts. However, when we asked to pay through those platforms, the staff informed us that the discounts would be valid only if we had made a prior reservation through those apps. There was no clear signage or information regarding this, and the refusal felt dismissive.

Overall, Aruvi Veg has scope for better consistency in service and more transparency in their payment/discount options. The food is decent for a one-time visit, but considering the overall experience, we felt it didn’t live up...

When I entered the restaurant it was ok but the receptionist and the service person both are untrained, they don't know how to handle the customer, I ordered a veg noodles, after that as per the service standard they should give a glass and they should fill water , but he kept a Mt glass on my table and he left , then I asked for spoon and tissue, that spoon was dirty, before providing they should check that , then when my noodles came as it is a alakathi restaurant they should serve my food on my plate , but he was simply kept on my table and left, Even not asking for The service also , when he came back to give me tissue, i asked Him will you not served my food ? he denied on my face this kind of hospitality service they are doing with a single lady 😡😡 (but when I came to the restaurant I saw the opposite table they are serving the food to the guest,) #also the noodles test like some lemon dish, 🤢 Even I'm also working in Hospitality industry, but i never seen such kind of worst service, very bad experience 😡😡

There is no option for photo posting in rivew page, other ways i will share the proof, even when I asked for feedback scanner also he said they don't have any feedback scanner.

I will never come back and even my friend also I will suggest to not to go

And for the manager I have a message please take a round and check all the guests...

The food was awesome and we loved the JACKFRUIT BIRIYANI which is a must try dish. Also, the Mixed vegetable-65 Platter (Dry) was tasty 😋. The ARUVI Special meals was also delicious as always. ARUVI got a 3 star rating just because of their Terribly poor service. The staff were fighting amongst themselves before the customers. Every item served whatever dish took a minimum of 10 minutes to be served. They took 10 minutes to serve water. Most of the service staff are Hindi speaking and they don’t understand what the customers are asking. The Air-conditioning was not working and upon enquiring they said it was not working. We were literally sweating inside while having food. HORRIBLE & WORST SERVICE. Food quality and taste was awesome. A strong word of caution to the OWNER & Restaurant Manager is If their service behavior is not rectified ARUVI Restaurant will have to shut down and vanish.

One of the busiest vegetarian restaurants in G. N. Chetty Road, T. Nagar, famous for South Indian Breakfast and Multi Cuisine during Lunch and Dinner. The ambience was quite good, the service was ok and the food was quite average. We ordered Pongal, Vadai, Rava Dosai, Poori and Coffee. Pongal was quite good but the Vadai was rock hard, not expected such a Donut like Vadai from a South Indian Restaurant. The Poori was good, Rava Dosai was average and the strong filter coffee was quite amazing. Their Chutneys and Sambar were very tasty and they have very limited side dish serving pots and continuously shifting the Chutney pot from one table to another. Such a high end restaurant must provide separate side dish pots for each and every table. The biggest advantage of the restaurant is Valet Parking.
