As a hardcore biryani lover who has traveled across the world and tasted almost every type of biryani, I can confidently say GS Muhal Biryani is a class apart. Currently stationed in Chennai, I got a chance to try their biryani when a friend generously passed it to me during Easter — and honestly, words can’t fully capture the experience.

The moment I opened the box, the rich aroma hit me — pure, authentic, and absolutely inviting. The mutton was unbelievably tender, falling apart effortlessly without any of that fibrous “naru” texture you often find elsewhere. It was clear to me they use pure groundnut oil, adding a beautiful, earthy flavor that perfectly complements the spices without being overpowering.

I’ve tried all the “famous” names here — Bilal, Rahmathullah Caterers, Nizam Biryani — but GS Muhal is on an entirely different level. No comparison. If you are a true biryani lover who appreciates a classy, authentic mutton biryani, this is the place.

I know some people have random complaints online — trust me, the quality is outstanding, and the quantity is more than generous. It’s actually addictive. I’m beyond happy to have discovered them. I don’t know who the chef is behind this magic, but God bless them! They are serving real happiness in every plate.

Hi, we ordered mutton briyani for 15 guest on the 15th of dec for my baby’s christening and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

The best part of their briyani is the grains were perfectly cooked and the taste was like a Muslim wedding briyani. I must say if you enjoy ss Hyderabadi briyani and believe that it’s the best in the city then you should try GS Mughal briyani cos they are like that but with premium and healthier ingredients. You can taste the premium quality with their briyani. Plus they give you the customisation of being able to add more mutton to briyani within an affordable price which is such a great idea cos many of us like to have more mutton or just have some leftovers for the night for a lazy Sunday or lazier Monday lunch. This was our first time ordering from them and they definitely won us 🥰, unfortunately I don’t have pics of the briyani but maybe next time.
