Read moreI booked Hotel for 9 hours in bags2bags. We are two families and I booked two double rooms. As I paid advance only while booking I booked entire balance as advised by reception staff before my check-in. We observed that one of our room's ac is not functioning at all and the same was brought to the notice of reception and they said that we will check and set right, however it has not worked out. In the meantime we went out for a temple and came after an hour. The ac's status is like that. They said again they will try and if necessary change the room. After repeated reminders they checked another room and asked us to shift. It's unfortunate that this room's ac also not up to the mark and we complaned again. Now their answer is the direction of that room (sun heat) is not good and hence the problem. As our stay is only for 9 hours (rooms booked on hourly basis) we got adjusted in our other room.We handed overed this room within 8 hours (without ac) and requested to allow us stay for an hour extra (late check out). They replied that it's not permissable as per the rules of hourly booking. I do respect rules. But where is minimum courtesy ? Though our room is not up to the mark, we adjusted and took trouble in shifting all the heavy luggage from one room to another these people couldn't spare a helping hand and not send any boy for support. My point is not to point out but for their attitude. Strict in rules and collection but not keeping the guests in comfort. Very Bad experience within 9 hours stay. Read moreIt’s my mistake on review of booking.com I had book such a hotel first on arrival the hotel had taken card payment actually booking.com had given to pay at checkout secondly for early check in they charged 1000 extra thou full hotel was empty Then there is renovation work going on in hotel for which there is dust & paint smell in room I had come to chennai for my eye operation so my appointment was at morning 9 am so it was urgent |After complaints to booking.com the wear offering room in there other hotel which is of more low categories & far from the hospital & booking.com also ofer other hotel of low categorie & higher rate | Then it’s not possible for me to change hotel as I was busy in hospital whole day then in the night at 10 when I come my room & bed were dusty the hotel staff was not ready to com on asking for towels 3 to 4 time hotel says the don’t have extra towel the cups were dirty there were cockroaches in the rum the bed make noes so I decided to change the hotel at 11 in night |But unfortunately not the hotel nor booking.com is refunding the amount | Been the hospital problem I had paid again with request to all not to use booking review and not to book this...
