8twenty Warung — Restaurant in Bali

2nd time coming here and quite disappointed. Ordered chicken sambal matah and already inform since beginning: requested the thigh part, the waiter said ok without checking first. When the food came, the chicken that was given was not as requested, asked for thighs that came breast (I don't like breast chicken, that's why I requested thighs), if from the beginning the waiter said thighs were not available, I would love to order another menu. Then the waiter apologized because he's forget to inform the kitchen team that I requested thighs, and the female staff in the kitchen just said there were breasts. So Silly I know, that's just an excuse because you guys already make it and worried it would go to food waste, but it should be your responsibility to change it according to my request, and that's clearly the fault of the waiter who forgot to info about my request. The staff is very ignorant, the restaurant is very quiet, there are only 2 guests, and the staff are all busy joking and very noisy, regardless of guests eating. I didn't enjoy my lunch at all. Such a worse place to having the meal. The staff should understand basic sequence of service and basic manner. Choose wisely your staff, There is big no hospitality in here. Will be my fave warung in Batu Belig area since it’s a very whole package! Eye catching exterior with green home plantations in every corner of the room also they’re hanging there at the ceiling. Makes the ambiance very homey cozy and warm. The staffs are friendly and attentive. And they have many aesthetics seating spot also the one which heading towards the rice fields. The foods omg! The food is delicious and very worth the price. I tried 3 menus for dinner: Watermelon feta cheese salad it’s very refreshing and delicious the portion is quite generous, but maybe if adding dressing with balsamic and olive oil would be much tastier! Just a positive suggestion though.

And also the Soto ayam is very tasty, authentic and reminds me of classic Soto ayam lamongan that rich in chicken broth soup and also comforting your soul.

Good food, good view but the attitude of the employee was bad. I ordered Soto ayam that is cheap in their promotion but I ordered because the first time I came with my staff, she was ordered Soto ayam n I tried n like it. So I ordered for myself tonight and the guy that served me after he knew that I ordered Soto ayam and he was shouting to his friend in cashier or let's say also kitchen. He said guess what she order...Like I just order still water because I couldn't pay other drink. So what if I just ordered normal still water because I don't want to drink ice? which is I still changed with warm tea because I don't like the still water that they provide.
