The Aria Grounds: Venue & Bar — Restaurant in Bali

If you're visiting or staying in this area of Bali, do yourself a favour and try Aria for food & cocktails. My friend (34) and me (47) have been 3 times so far, and can't understand why it isn't busier. Inside is a little oasis of formal dining area then a garden retreat overlooking a field that's away from the noise and bustle of the main road. The staff are very welcoming, attentive and helpful. Even for drinks, there's a daily happy hour (3pm-9pm with 2-4-1 selected cocktails for 850k IDR. And they bring complimentary peanut crackers. (Strawberry caprioska very good!) The food is well priced for a higher end eaterie (it isn't a basic warung) and it's so fresh and delicious. The potsticker dumplings and crispy eggplant are sooooo good, and the freshness and sweetness of the tomato on pizzas is lipsmacking. I feel so lucky to have stumbled upon The Aria Asian Restaurant this evening! After being stuck in traffic trying to get to a store before it closed (and sadly missing it), I noticed The Aria as I was walking past. Deciding to make the best of the situation, I stepped in—and wow, what a blessing in disguise!

I started with their crispy eggplant appetizer, and it was absolutely delightful. Then I tried the jumbo prawns with coconut rice, and one word comes to mind: AMAZING! The flavors were perfectly balanced, and every bite was a treat to the senses.

Without a doubt, this was the best meal I’ve had since arriving in Bali in September. The ambiance was warm and inviting, the service was impeccable, and the food exceeded all expectations.

What to expect: This is an international restaurant with local and international taste. If you are looking for local taste and international ambience, this is a perfect place. Staff were helpful and fluent in English. Ask them what you want and they will be able to assist you. The Beef Rendang is PERFECT! I’ve tried some Beef Rendang in local restaurant but I can say that this is the best so far! I come here during the night and the day, here is what I think; during the night this place is so romantic, quiet, and full of love! During the day, this place is great for a digital nomad! Again, working from here is perfect with an amazing views! Don’t hesitate to ask if they have a special.
