ACCENT gastro bistro — Restaurant in Bali

A Very, very nice bistro! The food is intresting, they use a lot of local ingridients with classic european techniques (France, Italy etc.) with outstanding taste and textures in dishes. Simple yet absolutely ridiculously delicious, for example I had a starter with fresh salmon, mango, cucumber and citrus-sesame dressing, bang! So freaking good.. followed by chicken (liver?) mousse with brioche, classic yet the execution was perfect and mousse was smooth AF!!!

As a main course, braised beef cheeks with truffel mashed potatoes, again, spot on! Top 3 Beef cheeks dish, I’ve ever had, hands down! So simple, so comforting, brought almost a tear in my eye since it was packed with flavour!

Service was nice and easy and FOH owner guy, had a superb set of pet nat ready to taste and drink by the glass.. So cool! Best selection of wine in Canggu(if you like natural wines, witch I do!)

LO-VED the fact that they played music from vinyls, and the only minus was that there was a live music about to start, so the soundcheck was bit weird mid dinner. Just stick to the vinyls and it would be a full 5 stars on everything.

All in all, go there and check it out yourself, you won’t regret, it’s a amazing bistro, a hidden gem in Canggu!

The atmosphere in this restaurant is like an enchanting waltz, where the sounds of the vinyl player blend with the subdued glow of lamps, creating a cozy and warm interior. Every corner exudes attention to detail, and the tables, like notes on a musical staff, are arranged to allow each guest to savor their evening in a private setting.

Ricotta cheesecakes are delicious, made from fresh cottage cheese, and have the right cottage cheese taste. Fresh salmon goes perfectly with creamy spinach and mushrooms. The presentation of the tuna is amazing, a wonderful dish for a gourmet dinner! The drinks was a new taste discovery for us and perfect to end the dinner beautifully 🥰✨

I recently had dinner at Accent on Nelayang Street in Canggu. The venue is small but incredibly cozy, with well-thought-out, pleasant details, especially at the bar counter with a coffee machine. The cocktails are a highlight here, and they truly stand out.

There’s also a small but very tasty menu. Everything I tried was delicious. I particularly loved the fish, which was cooked to perfection—not overdone, but just right, exactly how I like it. Overall, I had a wonderful dining experience at Ascent and would highly recommend it for both the ambiance and the cuisine. For coffee lovers, especially those who enjoy Bumble coffee, I highly recommend this place.
