Doppio Cafe — Restaurant in Bali

First time in Bali I was simply chased from the cafe and that was really disappointing. I instantly do not recommend to visit such a place. The stuff is rude, unfriendly and not customer-oriented. Tell you from the beginning. I came to the cafe with 2 friends ( there were 3 of us). We sat in a cozy corner with shelves of books and magazines. First impression was ok: nice design, food was normal for it's price. Not impressive, but ok. Maybe we would come again, but then happened an outstanding thing. My two friends left and I wanted to stay a little bit longer, chill and order some more coffee and crepes. But first came the waiter and asked me if I am alone and she wanted to replace me. I answered that I m ok here. Then another one waitress came and rudely asked me if I would order something. I made the order. Then came a company of 3 people. And the waitress forcely and rudely ordered me to move. And then I see a man that pick a little stand for flowers and put it in the center of cafe just in front of the entrance so that I moved to that!! It was't not a table at all! So I left without saying anything and would never come again. Because it was first time in Bali I faced such an attitude. Dear owners of cafe, you can simple put a stand in front of the entrance with the following words: " Eat fast and go away f*ing client". So this will truly depict the concept...

Went to this place for breakfast as per request of my girlfriend who read this had the best smashed avocado in Canggu. Arrived at this place in the late morning, first impressions were pretty funky and cool looking and the place was full we had to wait 5 minutes to get a table but they are right on top of it there as they want your business. Quite a variety on the menu and alot to choose from. I believe it is mostly healthy options on the menu. I landed on the pancakes and it came with 4 stacked pancakes with Banana, strawberry and dragon fruit on top. Oats and banana on the plate. And a side of maple syrup to drizzle on top. They were delicious and very well presented. Girlfriend ordered the smashed avocado with 2 poached eggs she claimed this was the best smashed avo she's had in Canggu! Everything down to the knife for cutting and the hard bread was considered. Also had a latte which was well presented and tasted authentic. What makes this place even better is the price, no wonder we were waiting to get in it was cheap!!! 15aud all up always good getting value for money. Staff were attentive even filling up my glass with water when it emptied and very friendly will come here again for...

I had an incredibly frustrating and shocking experience at this cafe. I arrived before lunchtime, hoping to enjoy a leisurely coffee before ordering lunch. I settled in with my laptop to get some work done, planning to order food after finishing my coffee. However, my peaceful work session was abruptly interrupted when a waitress approached me and demanded that I leave the table if I wasn't ordering food immediately. She insisted that they needed the table for other customers.

I tried to explain that I intended to order lunch after I finished my coffee, but she was insistent and rude, telling me to either order right away or vacate the table. It was baffling, considering the cafe still has a couple of empty tables, and the table I was in is very small, designed for only two seats and barely accommodating one person to eat comfortably.

This experience left me feeling unwelcome and frustrated. The waitress specifically lacks understanding and inflexibility regarding a simple request tarnished my impression of the cafe. I expected better customer service and a more accommodating attitude. I won't be returning to this cafe and would advise others to think twice...
